I've read two by him, The Revelation
(picked up at the dollar store, due to SK's glowing recommendation on the cover) which was good and schlocky, if
, which was not so good. I've heard from people in other groups though that I didn't pick up his best examples, and that I should try some others, namely The Store and Dispatch, which seems to be nearly unanimously voted (at least from all the people I've heard from about it) as his best.
I have heard really good things about Bentley Little, but I am a hard back purchaser and not a paperback purchaser, I guess I need to look for them as an ebook.
That is one reason that I bought a Nook, for those books that I cannot get in hardback, I will just download the ebook version - if I can find it!!!
I have read both The Store and The Associaton and both were really good reads. I think what I like best about Bently Little's books is the way he takes things that are a part of everyday life and gives them that good old horrific twist. Fun reads!
I am really enjoying The Haunted. This is my first Bentley book..and so enjoying it. Little graphic in the early part.
Hi Kilgallen and Murray! Little does get graphic, at least he did in the store. Shocking stuff. But I enjoyed it very much. Will be reading more of his stuff!
