One of my favorite books is The Giver by Lois Lowry. It's about this boy, Jonas, who lives in a society different than ours. There is no war, no hate, no weather, even no color. Jonas is curious as to what kind of world is outside of his, but everyone he asks is very reluctant to tell him, or is very secretive about it. But one day, he meets a man that calls himself The Giver. The Giver tells him about the true joys and pains of real life. I don't want to give too much away about this amazing story, because it's much better to read it, than to listen to me talk about it. My sixth grade class read this book for a project, and we were all astounded throughout the book. I recommend this book to anyone that like very innovative storys.
