Nimueh opens her book as the teacher comes in, drawing idly as the teacher writes up the lesson for today, asking us to copy down the passage on page eighty-eight.
Griffyn strolled into the class, a few minutes late and he smiled wryly at Mr Xavier, throwing out a quick apology that he had some issues to take care of. The history teacher just chuckled and excused him, telling him to take a seat and Griffyn's eyes zoomed into the empty seat next to Nimueh and he grinned in anticipation. Payback time, he thought as he made his way towards her and plonked himself noisily down onto the empty chair.
"Hello birdy, how'd the gum go." She smiles and keeps drawing.
"Terribly," he replied back with false cheerfulness, "She got too clingy, if you know what I mean, and in the end, I had no choice but to break the poor bugger." he gave a dramatic sigh, "Ah well, I knew it would never end well." his glance flickered to the teacher.
"Too bad, and I though the relationship was just getting interesting." She grins and finishes off her drawing.
He purposefully leaned over to peer over her table to see what she drew, "Well, honey," he said loudly suddenly, "I'm sorry it could never work out between us." making his voice sound a tad insulted and impatient, and drawing the attention of the rest of the class.
"Yeah, me too, at least before I walked away I fixed your breath problem for the last time, I think it'll hold for an hour, maybe less." She says, without missing a beat, opening her text book and starting to write down the passage.
Griffyn fake-scowled and bristled, "Well, excuse me if being around you hasn't made me as up-to-date with keeping my hygiene. I mean, honestly woman, the long hours of waiting for you to finish up things just drives me nuts sometimes!"
"Aww would you look at that, you waited for me even when I took too long, that's true love right there. Too bad about that isn't it?" She finsishes half the passage and takes another glance up at the board.
"You better bet your ass it was true love," he growled, "What about the time when you kept begging and begging me to stay? Looks like I'm not the only one lovestruck. I swear, you take a whole new meaning to 'clingy'!"
"Haha, you sure your not mixed up with Lindsay? I was so sure she was going to start stalking you when you broke her heart. Too bad she found someone who loved her for herself." She finished the passage off and closed her book with a snap. Turning around she leaned into Griffyn's face, blowing up her gum until it popped. "Keep away from me Griffyn." Her eyes sparked dangerously and she picked her stuff up and strode to the front of the room, handing in her report and classwork, then asking if she could leave early. The teacher nodded and she walked out, flashing Gryffin a hostile glare before leaving.
Griffyn gave a dramatic sigh and shrugged at the class, "Girls. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em." several guys mumbled in agreement and sympathy with him before turning back to the work at hand. He frowned at Nimueh's exit, surely she knew he was just joking, right? Then he blew out another breath when he thought that maybe she thought he'd taken things a bit too far, "Little witch doesn't know how to have fun." he muttered before quickly finishing off his work, handing it in to Mr Xavier and excused himself politely before jogging out of the classroom to see if he could catch up to her.
Nimueh ran through the halls, her feet slapping lightly on the floor. Stupid, stupid girl, thinking she could trust him. He was just like all the Moroi males, talked to a gal then left them. She slowed down and she turned into the hallway to the girl dhampir dormitry, getting her key out and opening her room. She closed the door and walked to her cello. She caressed the strings then picked the bow up. In position she played one of her favourite composition, albeit a sad one. (( I can post a link if you like))
Griffyn stretched his hearing out once he got out of the classroom and listened out in the empty hallway. He immediately caught the sounds of running footsteps and took a chance that it could be Nimueh's. Jogging towards the same direction, he realised that the footsteps soon led to the girl's Dhampir dorms and figured he was right. Looking around so that it was clear, he slipped behind the heavy wooden door and followed the footsteps up to a room which he assumed was Nimueh's. If it wasn't then he was in deep shit. Taking a chance, he knocked on the door lightly.((yes please! :D wanna head to her room?))
