Hmmmm. I just finished Before I Fall, and I am not sure what I think about it. At first, I was horribly frustrated with the high school drama, the cruel social interactions, and the insensitivity. Are teens really this mean to each other? Probably so. I think I remember some of that from my own high school years. My overall reaction is "good book." It had an interesting storyline, as well as several very good characters, some of whom I really liked, many that I hated. It teetered...moreHmmmm. The thought of teens getting so drunk at parties, and then driving, makes me heartsick... and I guess it is realistic.
The book did make make me fell very sad, overall. Maybe it was a bit too real for comfort
