Cheryl (cherylllr) a whole bunch. Westerns, sf, mystery-thriller, and some miscelleanous. Feel free to take a look at my shelf! cherylllr

Judy (judygreeneyes) | 145 comments Hi Cheryl -- which of your shelves should we look at? Are you talking about Availables in BC? I'm into sf myself. I'd be happy to swap! Can't be sure I know where all my books are, but anything on my Availables or Reserved list is worth asking about.

Judy (judygreeneyes) | 145 comments I just PM'd you via BC

message 4: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Sorry to be unclear, yes, my AVL on BC! So, I got your PM and have one reserved for you.

Anyone else? SF doesn't move at my OBCZ so I could even consider a bigger box trade.

Judy (judygreeneyes) | 145 comments SF does not do so well at my OBCZ either. More mysteries, thrillers, and kids books.

message 6: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Yup. And yet SF readers tend to be avid readers, and most of the used bookstores I've visited have a big section devoted to the genre. Hmm.

I'll probably be registering a bunch this weekend sometime, I've accumulated some more myst/thr and I bought a pile of kids books at a thrift store.

Judy (judygreeneyes) | 145 comments I love releasing kids books, and get great JE's when they bother to journal them.

message 8: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Sheesh. I've never gotten a JE from a kid's book.

message 9: by Paula (new)

Paula | 72 comments I've gotten one that I left across from an elementary school once but that's been it. At least it was one. : )

Cheryl (cherylllr) Ok I just registered another 3 dz misc. if anyone (in the US) wants to look (cherylllr). :)

message 13: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) A freecycler donated seven cartons of books to me. The ones I'm not going to read are now registered on bookcrossing.com. Mostly they're not too interesting, but feel free to browse. I ship within the US gratis, for karma. :)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Just registered an eclectic crateful of books that my husband read, or I did, or I tried to.

Is nobody else here registering and releasing books?

I am! A new OBZ opened quite near the house (they are few and far between here in Rome) so I have been releasing up a storm! I'm running out of books. (You can stop laughing now!)

I run low sometimes for my OBCZ, too, as I'm pretty much the only one putting books into it - but I still would like to ship books to bookcrossing members who will register and read them. :)
