While Esham has been known as the Godfather of the Wicked Shit and has been known as a rapper for well over a decade now, not many people take into consideration his production skills. Esham was self-made from day 1, doing EVERY aspect of his albums by himself. Every Esham album EVER released has had most of it’s beats made by him.
Years of running his own Reel Life Productions label and producing for himself and for his group Natas made it hard for Esham to do production work with other artists until the last few years, where he has been doing beats for Psychopathic Records, notably doing almost half of the beats for ICP’s Hell’s Pit.
In late 2005, Esham left Psychopathic Records to go work on a new Natas album at another label and later on began dissing ICP, thus ending the relationship
