As I read Defiance. I am starting to realllyy dislike christophe so I'm going for team graves

Tell me who you go for and what are some good qualities about your man of choice

I actually had a slightly different experience, in that I started out (and still am!) a big supporter of Graves, but I liked getting to have some more face time with Christophe. I felt like he wasn't really a viable romantic option previously because he and Dru spent so little time together.

My big gripe with Christophe is that he seems far too manipulative and secretive (which obviously blows up in his face at the end of Defiance). I like that Graves trusts Dru to be strong and act as their leader, and feel like he tends to bring the best out in her because of that.

I have and will continue to be a biig supporter of the "Goth Boy" Graves.
Looking at both relationships I just believe that he is better for Dru--they both have pretty good communication and together they represent a more real relationship...It's not perfect and yet it works. I actually find it very hard to picture her with Christophe not only because of the extreme age difference but also because he really doesn't bring out the best in her.

After reading Defiance (don't worry I wont give any spoilers to those who haven't read it) I am actually a little confused as to who Dru is actually going to end up with...but I can't foresee any reason for a change in my opinion.

Oh Lord...I love the tension between those three. I have to say Graves because it seems like Dru is on edge whenever she's with Christophe.With Graves she can just relax and not have anyone expect anything from her.

This is a good explanation of the difference between Graves and Christophe, I think. Christophe is the stereotypical bad boy love interest--he's older, standoffish, and he's kind of an asshole to a lot of people. Graves, meanwhile, is pretty realistic--he's scared as hell but sticks close to Dru anyway. He recognizes that she's smart and strong, and usually follows her lead because of that.

To be honest, I wonder if Christophe and Dru's dynamic will change now that she's bloomed. Every time they interact, Dru seems to be at her weakest--her dad's died, she's been shot, Graves is missing--and because of that, he's able to step in and act as the authority.

I completely agreee chrisphone seems to manipulative for me and this is the first in the series he got time alone with dru

Just finaished the third book and no maater what happens team Graves all the way.

I am definitely team Graves no matter what :D

but i LOVE christophe because he is a such a bad boy and i like that but he has a soft spot for dru but that might just be so he can use her. but she loves graves because she ran away whith graves not christopher.

Oh my god. I am shocked so many of you wanted her to be with Graves. I loooooove christophe. He has this sexiness to him, whilst Graves is boyish. Also, he is a bad boy, but he is eternally loyal to Dru. What more could a hirl want.

At the beginning I thought that she wouldn't ever be with Graves so pushed him from my mind as an option. I started to like Christophe, with his good looks and mysterious behaviour but he kept disappearing and then you find out he used to be in love with Dru's mom... awkward.

Then she started to like Graves... like that and I re-entered him into my mind as a dating option and realized how sweet he was. So i'm team Graves! cause hes awsome:)

I have had the worse time finishing the last book in the series. Mostly because of this stupid triangle (view spoiler)[ and the fact that she doesn't choose anyone! (hide spoiler)]

(Spoiler) the thing is she does choose graves he just needed to leave for a little while he didnt leave for good. I think she just said that to because it would hurt christophe if she told him that she loves graves.
I would of been happy with the ending if it wasnt so open. I hope lili st crow changes her mind and makes another book.

Oh, Ashlee. You're a good sort. Maybe I'll actually have the motivation to FINISH it now! Since, you know, I'm die hard team Graves. Love that kid.

I think graves is better for dru they have been through a lot more together and graves I think he and dru would get together because (spoiler) she never said "i love you" to Christophe so that's how i look at and i think they should make a sixth she left enough room for it.

When you live as long as they do, age becomes irrelevant. They don't age physically so the attraction is based on looks. In their society it is the norm. But seriously people. Am I the only one who LOVES Chris? I guessI always fall for the bad boy.

in every romance novel u see that the guy takes care of like everything. i like that graves lets dru use her girl power.and i do think its kinda creepy christophe liked her mother...
