From the moment I started reading it, I didn't want to leave it before I get some new information out of it. Eventhough, the beginning was a bit slow for a hotblooded reader like myself, but I know I have myself to blame for this. Fortunately, reaching the half of the book I got the first glimpses of upcoming solutions which kept me wanting to read more.

Reading this book was purely a spur-of-the-moment. I was just in a mood for a chick-lit and this book happens to be in my library as well as my TBR list. So I read it. And the outcome was a very fun and light book to read.

ok it was a graight book i couldent put it down i started it about a month ago but wasent in the mood for reading but yesterday i started it again and i couldent put it down and i finished it today but overall i loved but i truley hate endings where you supposed to imagine your own ending i wanted the ending to be there i like whene im eather satisfied or a bad ending but no ending is the worst so if it had an ending i would have rated it 5 stars. but over al graight book.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Easy to read, and the pacing and writing were good. The story was new to me (I think almost everyone knew the story before reading the book), but it still didn't excite me or thrill me despite sounding extremely good in theory. I actually kind of like the idea. Bad execution, perhaps? It was too wordy and descriptive, and it wasn't the good type of wordy. I just found it boring and too.. "formulaic" in the way classics are, to be honest. I might have loved it if I had read it ages ago.

Kristina (kristinalawhead) Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

2.5/5

I liked some parts of this a lot, mostly the flashbacks to see how everyone connected to the stories but I thought the main character was really over dramatic and I didn't like Hannah at all. Curious how the movie will turn out

My first Heinlein! The characters seemed a bit simplistic but the concept is just incredible. Had me thinking about it for quite a while.

Johara Almogbel | 71 comments The Great Gatsby The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

What a pretentiously sad story. To be honest, this was an easy read, and I quite enjoyed myself while reading it, but I couldn't bring myself to give it four stars because I didn't enjoy it enough. Gatsby was an idiot. Daisy was an idiot. Tom was an idiot. Myrtle was annoying. The only person I liked was Nick, and only then because he managed to find decent emotions by the end of the book.

All in all, I'm glad I crossed it off my reading list.

Physics of the Impossible: A Scientific Exploration Into the World of Phasers, Force Fields, Teleportation, and Time Travel
By Michio Kaku
Rating: 4/5

very enjoyable way to gain a little understanding of higher theoretical physics. Presented in a humorous and approachable way. Michio Kaku makes it easy to understand what's possible among the topics we now consider impossible.

The book is short and easy to read.
