I love this quote from one if his poems:"Two roads diverge in a yellow wood, and I take the one less traveled by..."
The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
I dislike Frost for many reasons xD But I did his poem Fire and Ice for a poetry voice contest and won! :DFire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire,
I hold with those who favour fire.
But if it were to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction,
Ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
