Newbery Books discussion

So I have been wondering what are you favorite NH books? Ones that you wished had won the Medal . . . or were just very good. lately I've been reading more NH than NMedals. Here are some of my faves:

Kneeknock Rise
Ella Enchanted
Al Capone
The Wanderer

Here are the ones I think should have won (compared to what did win that year)... I've only read 37 Honors though, I think.

The Upstairs Room
Gone-Away Lake
Charlotte's Web
The Long Winter
The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle

There are lots more that I think are really good, though!
