Samantha walked on the sidewalk with her head down. She was hoping her older brother's friends wouldn't see her, but they did. "Hey Mandy!" one of them called. "Come here!" he winked at her and gestuered over to their group. She looked away and walked faster as she passed them.
Samantha saw the shop and ducked in, relieved to be away from them. She didn't notice Sanders as she brushed by him. She looked aorund slowly, and then walked to the register.
She looked up at the menu, and then dug a five out of her bag. "Yeah, can I have a mocha coffee please?" she asked, holding the bill out.
"Oh, thanks," she said, surprised as she put her money back.
She took a seat and pulled out her phone, seeing a missed call and text from her brother. She rolled her eyes and put her phone away without checking them.
She looked up and smiled at him, taking the coffee. "Thank you," she said, taking a sip.
Samantha relaxed against the seat and drank some more of her coffee. She rumaged through her bag and pulled out her book, settling back to read for a bit.
Samantha glanced up at the yelling person, a small smile tugging on her mouth. She shook her head and went back to her book.
Samantha looked around, eyes wide at the choas. Then she smiled and screamed really, really loud, making everyone fall silent. She started laughing.
((hey I gotta go, later Dez!))
Samantha held her stomach as the other's joined in. "Oh, that was great," she said.
Samantha held her stomach as the other's joined in. "Oh, that was great," she said.
"Thanks," Samantha grinned and took another sip.
"Does that happen very often?" Samantha asked, with one eyebrow raised.
"Wow. You've got some craaazy friends," she said, and put her book away.
"Well... thanks for the coffee," she smiled, holding it up. She lifted her bag back up and turned to go.
Samantha walked out of the store and continued her walk.
((...what do you want to happen now??))

((lol kay!))
Samantha was already in her seat, and had been for a while. She saw someone sit down out of the corner of her left eye but didn't pay attention, she was too absorbed in her drawing.
Samantha was already in her seat, and had been for a while. She saw someone sit down out of the corner of her left eye but didn't pay attention, she was too absorbed in her drawing.
Samantha glanced up, annoyed, but then saw the guy who'd given her a free coffee. "Hey," she smiled, covering her paper with her arm.
Samantha didn't want to be rude, but she'd had a really inspired moment and wanted to finish the picture. "Thanks," she said, going back to her drawing. She heard a familiar laugh and sighed, but ignored it.
Samantha finished her drawing and relaxed back in her chair, satisfied as she looked it over. She put it into her binder and realized the teacher had called her name, and she hadn't heard him. "Samantha Werksma?" he called again, and someone snickered. She blushed and raised her hand. The teacher nodded.
((Actually, I was thinking it would be cool if only one of our charries had powers and they went to a regular school.))
((Dunno, do you think it'd be better if it was the girl or guy..? I mean, the guy is kinda cliched but I could see Sanders with powers lol !))
((hmm... nah, you have them!))
Samantha looked out the window boredly.
Samantha stifled a laugh and gave him a good job, look.
Samantha giggled and put a hand over her mouth when the teacher shot her a look.
Samantha rolled her eyes at him.
"Finally," Samantha muttered, picking her stuff up.
"Yeah," Samantha smiled, and then sighed when she heard someone calling, "MANDY!" She turned around and looked at Jake. "What?" she asked sharply.
Jake grinned at her. "Aww, wittwe Mandy doesn't want to pway?" he asked in a baby voice. Samantha knew to everyone else he looked like he was just teasing, but she could see the dangerous gleam in his eye. "Yeah, whatever," she said.
Samantha knew by now to not tell. She gave him a small smile. "Just my brother's annoying friend," she said in a light voice. Jake grabbed her arm in a seemingly friendly way, but he was digging in hard. Samantha kept a straight face and went with him.
Jake looked at Sanders, annoyed. "Back off, I'm just taking her to lunch," he said. Samantha stayed quiet. She had avoided him the other day, and now she was paying.
Jake leered down at Samantha and dragged her out to his car, putting her in the passenger seat and buckling her in. "Wouldn't want you to get hurt," he chuckled and got in, starting the car. Samantha still didn't say anything. She had put up her defense, and was completely numb now.
Jake drove a small ways, then pulled over in a secluded area. "Now, if I'm not mistaken, you IGNORED me yesterday..." Jake said, leaning over to her. "That wasn't very nice," he whispered, putting his hand on her thigh. He pulled back, laughing, and then slapped her across the face.
((lol it's okay))
Jake snarled at Sanders. "Fool, you shouldn't have followed," he said. Samantha looked down.

Jake opened the car door and slammed it behind him. "I'm not going to let you ruin my fun. Go back to school and don't tell anyone what you saw," he hissed, grabbing Sanders by the front of his shirt.
Jake scoffed. "Yeah right geek, like you could hurt me," he said. He kneed him in the stomach, wanting to hurry up and get back to his fun with Mandy.
Jake dropped to the ground, screaming. Samantha looked out the window nonchalantly. She watched as he writhed, but her emotions were still locked away.
Samantha opened the door slowly and got out. She walked over to Sanders.
Samantha got into the car and put her hands in her lap, staring at them silently.
Jake stopped screaming, but couldn't get up.
