Evernight Academy discussion

Big courtyard in the center of school.

James sat in the courtyard toying with a lighter in his hand.

((Jay the lake))

Maria came into the courtyard, her earphones were in. She cranked it up, listening to Panic! At The Disco played.

James hearing the music looked up at the sorce to see a girl.

Maria glanced up and saw James.

James raised a brow at Maria and smirked giving her a slight wave.

Maria smiled and waved back. She pulled her earphones out and walked over.

James raised a brow, "Panic! At the Disco?"

"Luv them. Do you know BVB?" Maria says.

James shook his head, "No, what's that?"

"Black Veil Brides is an awesome band. Love them. So,why are you here at the Academy?"

James shrugged, "Been a little out of touch with society, don't know how to use an i-pod and new devices like that. Apparently I'm here to learn."

Maria smiled and sat down on a bench.

"So why are you here?"

"My parents have a strained relationship and they decided I was to be sent here while they fought over my rights." Maria says with a frown.

James laughed, "Your a bloody Vampire. They have no control over you."

"I know but, they think whoever wins rights in human court is better. It's stupid." Maria sighs. "My life is such a contridiction."

James shook his head, "My parents are dead." He shrugged.

"I wish my parents would leave me alone and let me live my own life. Come on! I've been a Vampire longer they have. I'm a Sonnen, a Unschuldig! Unlike them! Those crappy parents are Verloren!" Maria spit out.

James raised a brow, "Why don't you leave? The planet is plenty big enough."

"The Call. Wesentliche and Feld prevent." Maria says.

"huh?" James asked confused.

"Where you compell the vampire you made or the who made you to stay with you and with both compelling me to do the same thing, it's hard to resist." Maria said frowning.

"Ahhh, my creator just kinda ditched me." James shrugged.

Maria shrugged. She pulled out a bottle and shook it. Separated blood, not a pretty sight. She opened the botle and offered it to James.

James shook his head, "Nah, thanks but I prefer the source."

Maria toke a small sip. "I drink it this way because I'm a Sonnen, a Unschuldig."

"Again I repeat, what?"

"Sonnen means sun in German. It's means I'm a believer in human ways. Of kindness and equalness. Unschuldig means healer in German, I have Spirit." Maria takes another small sip before making a face and sealng the bottle again.

"Ahhh, I get it now. I believe in survival of the fittest."

Maria shrugged and put the bottle back in her messanger bag

James stood, "I'll see you around, Sonnen "

James returned a few minutes later.

Ana walked around looking at everyone

James sat down and leaned against the wall shutting his eyes, trying to enjoy silence.

Ana dropped her book and it fell on James legs,"sorry!"

James jumped to his feet and spotted Ana, bending down he picked up the book and held it out to her, "This is yours?"

Maria waved at James.

she nodded,"tahnks

James waved at Maira then turned back to Ana. "You should be more careful. The next person you drop a book on, might not be as kind as I am."

"so sorry, I guess I get what you mean alot of people glare at me for some reason"

James shrugged, "It's because your new. Most of us, well our families have been going here for generations. Your new."

she shrugged,"some looked at me as if they were about to eat me"

James laughed as if the idea were ridiculous, "That's absurd."

she smiled,"I hope so, it was sort of wired!So how long have you been going here?"

James shrugged, "For a while. This isn't my first year here, that's for sure."

Maria walked over and smiled at Ana

"who's the really good teachers?"

James chuckled, "All of them suck." Literally He added in his mind
