Would anybody be interested in writing contests? If so, does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm going to wait and see how people respond on the poll, but my general plan is a short story contest. As far as topics go, it could be something along the lines of an actual topic to write about, a sentence that has to be in the story, or a title and a first sentence. I'm planning on rotating judges that way everyone gets a chance to participate. I'm thinking that maybe the winner could come up with a topic for and be one of the judges for the next contest.

So yeah, tell me what you think.

thats such a cool idea and i think that there has been enuff votes for yes so u should start it and send everyone details like a rule sheet or something and when it starts and ends

poem competitions

okay.. poems too. I'll start as soon as I get more than 30 minutes to sit down and organize the idea.

Oh! I am so good at writing poems! But appearentyly some of my poems want people to go emo. I find them good but...

i usually only write poems when i feel depressed. so all my poetry is very emo. hee hee XD

yea my poem story is VERY depressing, but really good its not all depressing but well its just sad

i only write poems if i'm deppressed or it's about opposing sides. (like Light v/s Dark)

i kinda rite like sad poems when im depressed or mad at someone and they always make the people im mad at cry or feel really bad amd say sorry
