Which authors have you read the most books by? and who is/are your favourite/s right now?

Enid Blyton - Faraway Tree series
Virginia Andrews - the best are the books that are actually by her
Terry Pratchett
Amy Tan
Iain Banks
Ian McEwan

I'd like to read more Paulo Coelho
Haruki Marukami, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Milan Kundera. Try Joyce Carol Oates and Iris Murdoch.

I really like Karen Maitland, 'A Company of Liars' is easily one of the best books I've read in the last couple of years. Is Alison Weir similar at all?

Authors I keep going back to are Graham Joyce, Sarah Waters, Angela Carter, J K Rowling, maybe Margaret Atwood and when I was young I read zillions of Enid Blyton.

I'm liking John Harwood and Camilla Way at the moment and have bought a few by F G Cottam ... but I'm a bit undecided about his style.

When I was young I think I read ever Enid Blyton book there was. As a teenager I read Agatha Christie, Conan Doyle and I enjoyed poetry. Now I read anything. I do really enjoy american history and I do have quite a collection of books on the Kennedy family.

Becky McWilliams Guinness (billiesue) I found all of my old Enid Blyton books again the other day. I think I'll be re-reading The Magic Faraway Tree!

Have you ever read any Iain M Banks? I've read a few of him as Ian Banks but I have a friend who raves about his sci-fi. I'm not really in to that kind of thing but she has me convinced to give it a go.
