message 23: by Elisamarie (new)

Elisamarie | 11 comments OH, I have been banned by my husband from reading Nicholas Sparks! I cry and cry and cry and cry and then SOB when I read anything by him and then I'm depressed for days. My husband doesn't tell me no very often, but he says no more Nicholas Sparks!!!

I got tired of Nora Roberts, but I read The Inn at Boonsboro and loved it so much I can't wait until the next one comes out. Susan Mallery is one of my faves, as are Linda Lael Miller and Kristin Higgins.

If you haven't read Tracey Garvis Graves "On the Island", it's a must read.

message 24: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (cx3ane) | 85 comments Shell- I have only read 2 of Kristan Higgins, but I want to read more of her books!

Elisamarie- lol. I always cry with Nicholas Sparks. I think there is a hidden rule somewhere with his books! lol. Each book I have read of his I cry. Best of Me I was depressed afterwards, too. That book did me in. Does every one of his books someone dies? I have not read the Inn at Boonsboro, but it is on my list to read. I will read it soon. I hope. I am thinking in between Summer Nights & All Summer Long by Susan Mallery! I will have to check out Tracey Garvis Graves.

I really want to read the series called Lucky Harbor by Jill Shalvis. I just found it. Someone told me about it on Barnes & Noble's book club site. I have books 1-3. It is on my to read list, too. It is on my top 5 to read. I think Jill will make my Top 6 Favorite Authors!

K I am reading Kat martins against the sun. Awesome book. I love this series. I wish that when some authors writes a series they would do it so the books come out closer together. I hate to wait a year to read the next. I know its time consuming but when iI get into a book I want to get to the next one. Am I the only one who is like this ?
Thanks Susan for getting them out!

That's a really good idea! I have been so behind on my reading lately and I know I keep forgetting about new books that have come out! I have them in my To Read Soon list on GoodReads but that's getting out of control! I need to make a top 20 or something :-)

And I just finished Rescue Me and it was so cute! I LOVED it♥

message 45: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (cx3ane) | 85 comments I have a list on my personal blog, too. I did it in the beginning of the year when I started a few Reading Challenges. Most of those Challenges I am still doing, but the one their link does not work. I still have a few I need to hand in still, I still have a few books to review & then hand in. I love reviewing books! I have my a list on Goodreads called to be Read Next. I think I need something else, too. Something when I add them I know where to put them. My is getting out of control, too! It is a mess!! I like the top 20 idea. I have Rescue Me on my list. I am going to add 3 for my Fall list at the end so I can remember. The new Fool's Gold one I need to pre-order!
