93!!! My name is Freddy and I am a student of the Western Mysteries, a practicing Thelemite, a Master Mason in a lodge of the AF&AM, and just an all around swell guy! I am doing a lot of Thelemic reading these days, primarily Crowley himself, but some Lon Milo DuQuette and Rodney Orphus sprinkled in there as well. I recently acquired a 1972 set of the Equinox vol 1, and there is a lot there to keep one busy. Most of my reading is usually fiction. Favorite authors: Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, Paul Auster, Christopher Moore, some of Chuck Palahnuik's stuff was great, Steven Saylor's Sub Roma series, and John Maddox Robert's S.P.Q.R, have both been great Roman Sleuth epics, Mark Z. Danielewski...
Greetings to everyone in the group. My name is Denton. I am a composer and an avid reader of occult books. I have been exploring the works of Crowley and this year I have read The Book of Lies, Book 4, and I am planning on starting Diary of a Drug Fiend in about one week. I am currently reading Sex and Rockets and I have also delved into works on Chaos Magick, Austin Osman Spare, and a number of other occult topics.
I look forward in some discussions, I became interested in Crowley reading Manly P Hall. Look forward in getting to know everybody here.
Hello everyone, I recently got into occult topics--quite fascinating stuff; I'm reading some Crowley, Blavatsky, and some Qabalah and Tarot. Just a quick question, does anyone know a good book(s) for pathworking? It sounds very interesting and I want to give it a try.
re: pathworking the TOL, there's not a lot of books on it, though you might try Dion Fortune's "The Mystical Qabalah" which has a fair bit on each sphere, and a few other books such as from memory Ophiel's Cabala, or Magical States of Consciousness by Denning/Phillips.

Today we anglophiles have the delightful opportunity to discover the reason his memory still shines so brightly in Britain through participation in this discussion group. It is my hope that the occultist topics that were popular during Aleister's era will emerge from obscurity and once again gain recognition, at least in the context of this discussion group. If not, well, at least we'll have some fun entertaining their validity in the context of the 21st century setting.
