Basically “phobia” is come from Greek word “phobos” that means fear, fears of certain situations, activities, things, or persons. It can be an unreasonable fear for others, most common fears or phobias that usually people are ill with include heights, darkness, snakes, insects, closed in places, etc. Some phobias sounds funny to hear or know their meanings but not for peoples who are suffering from them. This post presenting a-z list of phobias and their meanings, some of them might make you amaze and others might make you laugh.

No, like I have this serious fear of failing. Like, I would basically DIE if I got below 80% in a test, let alone failing!!!!

First of all, the title of this topic makes no sense. It is an example of tautology. Phobia means fear so basically you're saying "Your Fear Fears".

The list is missing my one phobia: aracnophobia - the fear of spiders.

It's also missing anatidaephobia - the fear that a duck is watching you.

People are scared of ducks watching them?

Apparently some people are! I hate to think what happened to them in their childhood.

i have agyrophobia, which is fear for streets!..i dont think its on the list but anywayz..wen im crossing streets or highways i feel lyk my whole world is being turned upside down...even if someone holds my hand it doesn't work...people find it funny, but believe me its not! :D

I'm really scared of spiders. I don't have phboia but its close. if there's a spider acrosss the room, me and my friend will scream and run. i hate spiders!!!!

Im afraid and hate them! I hate every type of creepy crawler except lizards. Hate them + with a passion.

I have this weird phobia of looking at satellite images of small islands in large masses of water.
Gives me the creeps.
