i like when Austin English talks comix. He's got good angles on comix appreciation, even when he's appreciating something almost everybody appreciates:

"When I want to see everything that comics can be -- a world totally with its own laws of language, design, and logic that is still more inviting than intimidating -- Krazy Kat is what I always want to go to first."

His top 10 o.a.t. includes a couple things that'd be on my own top 10 (and a couple things I'd never heard of):

Leben? oder Theater?: Ein Singspiel by Charlotte Salomon
Chimera by Lorenzo Mattotti
Der Palast by Anke Feuchtenberger
Hero’s Life and Death Triumphant by Frédéric Coché
The White Boy page by Garrett Price from the Smithsonian collection
The Kin-der-Kids by Lyonel Feininger
Krazy Kat by George Herriman
The complete works of Edward Gorey
The Walking Man by Jiro Taniguchi
The autobiographical comics of Luc Leplae
