5.1 - Boo! It's Halloween time! Read a book with a pumpkin, black cat (domesticated), bat (the animal), witch's hat, candy, skull, or skeleton on the cover. Required: Include the cover or a link to the cover in your post. Examples:

flag
Approved:bubble gum = candy
partially exposed skeleton or skulls/parts of skeletons
Animal skeletons/skulls/bones:
Sorry, these won't work:black cats should be domesticated cats not large cats (i.e., tigers, panthers, etc.)
Can I use
? It's not very clear, but the horse's flesh is melting off its skull, so the skull is partially exposed.

It definitely works. Just mention when you post that the book was approved in the task help thread so Sandy doesn't have to hunt it down.

It's the sequel to one of the Fall Group Reads...The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie"
Good one! ;o)

work for candy seeing as she is blowing bubble gum?"Yes, I'd consider bubble gum a candy.

Yay thanks Kristi!

work? I can't tell if those are skeletons or just reeealllyy skinny zombies?"That guy/zombie/whatever he is in the front looks like a skull to me. It'll work.
How about this one:
It's spooky looking, but I'm not sure if it qualifies as a skeleton or scull. Thanks!

No, sorry, that one just looks like a face so it won't fit.

Thanks - I have some others in mind.

"No, it needs to be domesticated. Sorry!
Ok, would this work for a skull? I know it's not exact, but I believe it is meant to double as a skull.

"Looks like a skull to me (neat effect ;-)). It works.
Sue T wrote: "Is this a good enough skull?
"Yes, that works. But it's hard to see. Please point it out when you post.

Thanks, Kristi.
Dlmrose wrote: "Are the skulls and skeletons limited to human remains? Or would an animal skull work?
"Animal bones work, too.

"Animal bones work, too."
Thanks
Fran wrote: "Would this work? Popcorn on cover as well as goul faces-
"Popcorn won't work, but the kid in the 3rd row appears to be eating a candy bar and that fits! Just point the candy bar out when you post. It's easy to miss.
