I recently read The Torso and it was good.
Closest to proper dark noir by a female author and/or with a female protagonist that I've found so far. While Inspector Huss is not noir as a character and does not have the destructive habits of the Harrys (Hole or Bosch), the crimes and the criminals were creepy. So her sort of Brunetti style family life and warm character balanced it out nicely.
