Students of the Restored Gospel discussion

Last weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to again hear from the leaders of our church.

This is where you can share your thoughts and feelings about your favorite talks or the ones that impressed you the most. Please put your input in, we love to hear from you!

There were so many great talks. The ones that stand out to me were the ones about prayer (more than one) and missionary experiences. I really got a lot of this years talks and look forward to the ensign. Sometimes it really suprises me to hear about prayer in each talk and then read the ensign and find only one article about it. I know we hear during conference the things we need to hear.

My son noticed that there were a lot of talks about missionary work, especially in the first session. Here is my favorite quote:

I really enjoyed that one, as I am going through some difficult health challenges, both mine and my family's right now.

I loved how Elder Bednar talked about how we can use our morning and evening prayers together to solve problems in our lives or to become better.

I also enjoyed the general theme of hope, happiness, and enjoying the journey :). I have really taken it to heart and have already felt that I have had a more happier and fulfilled week. Hooray for conference!
