Do you have a favorite book or favorite books or series of books? If you do please share with the group!

Chris Stanley (christinelstanley) | 922 comments If I could only have one book, it would be The Shadow of the Wind, but I have lots of favourites

Faye (theoddmissus) If I had to choose one, I mean if I really really had to choose ONLY one book, it would be David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. The most beautiful book I've ever read.

Eric (beefdurkee) | 122 comments I have to say To Kill a Mockingbird. Atticus Finch is a man I admire. I know he is fiction, but I'd still like to meet him.

Chris Stanley (christinelstanley) | 922 comments I have read some good books since I suggested Shadow of the Wind was my favourite book in my earlier post of Aug 2011, and I have to say, it's still my favourite. Which book stands the test of time for you?

That is a really hard question. I have so many favorites but if I had to pick just one The Pillars of the Earth

Lorrie (lorrier) I just love all Anita Shreve books, predominantly "Fortunes Rocks". I also like Rosamunde Pilcher books. "The Shell Seekers" was my favorite Pilcher novel. I also enjoy Peter Rock. Rock's "My Abandonment" was the BEST!

Karen (karenofthebookworm) If I'm only allowed one book then it has to be The Lord of the Rings.

T4bsF (Call me Flo) (time4bedsaidflorence) Bit of a difficult choice - I've read and enjoyed so many (I'm 63), but I think if I was at gunpoint to make a choice it would be.....

Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) The Banned and the Banished series by James Clemens. SO good!
