Regina Kitto | 21 comments Hi I live in north Queensland Australia, very excited when I found this group on good reads. As I just love to read and make quilts. Just finished a single thread yesterday and loved it. I have a friend who just got breast cancer and am now going to get it for her. Got the next one on your book shelve. I really think you need to put some more books on there.

Welcome to the group, Regina! We'll work at putting more books on the bookshelf.

Cathy (boxershiner) | 61 comments Dang, I didn't know about the book shelf, I'll add a bunch, in the meantime here is a link that I started using some 10-15 years ago when quilting fiction was not the norm and was hard to find. I've not gotten thru this list yet and it doesn't have a lot of the newer quilt fiction, but it's a great place to start http://infohost.nmt.edu/~breynold/qui...

Welcome Regina, I'm in Ohio USA

Kathryn (kathrynh) I've got a whole list of quilting themed books, do you want me to add them all or just start with a few?

I think we should add as many as we can, Kathryn. I curious, though - why can others who aren't moderators not add books? Is that a specific setting or is it inherent to GoodReads?

And Cathy, I was just thinking of the quilting theme website when I sat down here this morning. I'm glad you posted it.

KittyKatMom | 7 comments Hi, I'm Seba from Tennessee. I am new to the group. I am very excited to hear your suggestions for good books. Sorry to say my full time job keeps me from quilting and reading as much as I would like which would be ALL THE TIME. If only I had someone to feed me and fan my fevered brow. As it is, I get up early and stay up late. Sleep is just a bad habit.

Kathryn (kathrynh) Hi Seba and welcome! What type of quilting do you do when you have time? This is a great place for inspiriation and great books!

Regina Kitto | 21 comments Maybe one new book a month would be good so that gives you time to read it.
