I love her! My reviewer on Kirkus liked her too, but used the word 'preposterous' when he talked about her involvement with Jack's women friends. It is sort of preposterous! I have vivid fantasies about how I would respond in her situations, and it is nothing like Pam's response. Does infidelity bring out the worst in people?

I think at the beginning she just wants to hang on to anything that Jack loved.
I kept thinking Denial, I was not happy with how she treated her sister, and how she rationalized Jack's abuse on her sister.
