After reading so many YA books, they start to have the same pattern, but this was a new thing for me and it wa very well done. You should deffinetly give it a go Leea.
I didn't even know it was official that there was another book coming. But with that ending I had my hopes. Glad to hear there's more to come.

I haven't read the Novella yet, but I thought HMCN was one of the more interesting books I've read in the past year. The book seemed like one that both males and females would enjoy, and it had a lot of witty snark. I also thought having a necromancer for a main character was different from the usual PNR fare. There was a small love story, but it wasn't a big focal point for those who aren't crazy about love stories. You really can't go wrong when one of the main characters is just a head...
I keep popping onto her website to see if there is any updates about the sequel but so far there's been nothing, other then the mention that she's writing one.

I don't think I've read anything similar and that's really hard to acomplish now days. I hope the sequel doesn't take more than normal.
I've never read anything similar either. Though right around that time I read
, and that was surprised me as much as Necromancer did.
This was one of those books that I had been very reluctant to read because of all the good things I'd heard about it. I was afraid it couldn't live up to my *coughs*admittedly unfair expectations*cough*, but it really did. Also, this might seem a little ... I don't know, shallow or something, but I have an affection/(view spoiler) to unique character names. Samhain Corvus Lacroix ... talk about a name ;).
LOL! I love unique character names provided they aren't too crazy. Sam had an awesome name for sure!
Yeah, but I never remember how to pronouce Samhain. It isn't pronounced how it is spelled, that's for sure!

This might officially be the weirdest book trailer ever. Not sure why I hadn't seen it before now.http://www.lishmcbride.com/hold-me-cl...
