I'm Wendy F, I'm 32 with a 7 year old daughter. I have an addiction to book purchasing. Its one that I'm not sure I want help with.I have an affinity to YA, particularly raw contemporary YA.
I can't wait to chat books with all the new members!
Hey I'm Leea, a 33 year old mom to 2 crazy boys. I'm a runner, reader, cook and huge coffee drinker but a great book just opens a whole new world to me. This is my first YA centered group and I can't wait to find some new books to read. Thanks for the invite ladies, you are sure busy :)
Hey Leea, glad that your expanding your reading to YA. I hope you find lots of good books around here.Hello everyone I'm Carina. I'm 24 and a single mom of a 4 years old who's starting Pre-school tomorrow. Reading opens up my mind and excites/relaxes me, depending on the book. My first love was YA, but I've spread my reading to anything fiction. I do hope to find more YA books to love and I'm excited to meet and chat with everyone.
Hi guys! Isa here :) I'm big on anything YA... but am currently obssessing over Arya in GoT. I live in the Philippines and love my family like crazy. Still trying to figure out what I want, but in the meantime have developed first name basis relationshps with almost all the clerks in the two bookstores in town! Looking forward to chatting with you all... :)
Hello there! I'm Hillary. I'm 27 and YA seems to be my first choice for books. I love them. They brought me back to reading, and have kept me reading. I think this is partially because I've read so many classics and "heavier" readings in school. I still manage to throw some adult fictions and PNR in there as well. Thanks for the invite! Look forward to chatting. :)
Hey there everyone. :)I'm a married 30 something mom of a preschooler and highschooler. I love to read all kinds of books from most every genre, and bounce around between YA and adult content. Let's just say that I'm not good at commitment. There's too many books out there...I often cheat on my books with other books.
I'm also a GR addict and groupaholic and tend to check in at least a couple of times a day. It's sad, I know.
Hey guys!! I'm 21, currently going to college, and I'm a book shopaholic!Fantasy is my main genre, especially in the Urban and Epic areas. I have a ton of YA books, but I usually end up reading way more adult.
It's great to have a mature place to talk about YA books. After all there's only so many times a "Squee" is acceptable as an answer. ^_-
Hi girls! I'm. Mirna soon turning 29... single mom of two, Naomi 8 and Oscar 5, as most of you know I'm Carina's big sister, I love anything that is paranormal fanacy and try to read a little bit every day...
Hi everyone!I'm Rachael (although some of you know me as Piper - I'm phasing out my "online" name for my real one!)
I'm 26, from the UK, work at a library where I run a teen book group.
I feel so far behind with books and I can't wait for my TBR list to be shorter than my Read list... not sure if it's going to happen! :)

Hey there stranger! Oh my...I'm going to have to get to know you as Rachael now? That's crazy business! At least I recognize the avatar. :)
Hello, everyone!I'm Angie. I'll be 22 next month, from California, and I'm a full time student. I just rediscovered my love of reading over this ridiculously long summer break thanks to discovering GoodReads. :)
Hey everyone! Thanks for the invite! I am cambria, a mother of two and a writer. My debut novel is coming out this Decemeber and it is a YA paranormal titledMasquerade (Heven and Hell #1)! Great to see you all!
Hey Everyone I'm new to the group and fairly new to the why YA genre, (I'm a PNR girl) @ heart.. Great to meet you all! ;D& to my girl Wendy, thanks 4 the invite Sister mine!
Thanks for joining, both of you. I'm excited to see you, the set up is a folder for each genre and a subject for the popular books.Ebone, I thought of you because it seems that you're reading more and more YA and thought you'd like to have a place to chat about it. Like the Shiver books, haha.
Thanks for the invite. I'm from California and a mother of two to a 3 yr old boy and a 1 wk old baby boy. I love reading different genres and dabble in YA every now & then. Here's a few YA books that I really enjoyed.... I love Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, Perfect Chemistry, Jellicoe Road, The Sky Is Everywhere, Hex Hall...just to name a few. I look forward to discussing YA books w everyone here.
Hi Kay! I loved Hex Hall too! Did you read Demonglass yet? I read it too I loved it but the ending kind of threw me off.
Thanks for the welcome and congrats!Cambria - yes, I read Demon Glass. I'm not a big fan of cliffhangers if I don't have the next book available to read so the ending of Demon Glass had me pissed off. I still really liked the book tho and can't wait for the next one.
I know what you mean Kay! I wasn't happy either and besides from being a cliffhanger I just thought that what she did wasn't really in character...
Hey everybody!I'm Jen. 24 years old. I read about almost anything but I especially love the YA genre. My favorite is YA supernatural/fantasy/pnr but I'm starting to really like contemporary, historical and dystopian YA, too. :)
Hello everyone, looks like a lot of familiar faces in here. :) I'm Samantha, 25, and live in California. I love reading books from all sorts of genres, but YA is definitely one of my favorites. Thanks for the invite, it was actually perfect timing since I had been trying to find a YA group I wanted to join for awhile now.
Hiii, I got an invite from Wendy F, and here I am. :) I'm Cécilia, 20, and I live in Paris. YA is my favorite genre of books, and I love fantasy as well as science fiction and dystopia, and generally, anything that sounds promising to me!
Hey everyone! I'm Jen. I'm 34 and I'm from Louisiana. I love BOOKS! I tend to enjoy YA literature and I'm not really sure why...lolThanks for the invite, Wendy! :)
Kia ora, everyone! I'm Berit, I'm 27, I live in New Zealand, and books are slowly taking over my house. They've recently starting taking over the stairs one step at a time, much to my cats' dismay. It's fairly safe to say that YA is my favorite genre. Authors at the top of my list are Tamora Pierce (love love love her), Phillip Pullman, Garth Nix, Orson Scott Card (YA status debatable), and Scott Westerfeld (for his Leviathan series).
See some familiar faces around already, but looking forward to meeting & chatting books with everyone! :)
Hi everyone! I'm 24, live in the Philippines and currently been busy with life and work, which is the reason why I haven't been able to comment in groups as much as I used to. I haven't given up reading though! :) YA is my favorite genre but I also love historical romances as well as adult pnr/urban fantasy. Thanks for the invite Wendy! :)

Hi Larraine and Berit. So glad to see you here.Welcome Anna! Edgy Contemporary is probably my favorite YA genre.
