The Next Best Book Club discussion

I need help finding an english translation of an internationally award winning short story. When I initially read this short story in a english textbook, I thought it was incredible.
It is Dochera by Edmundo Paz Soldan.
Its a really incredible story, possibly the greatest short story I've ever read, but I cant seem to find an english copy of this story anywhere online, and I no longer have that textbook.

ETA - its in the book A Whistler Through the Nightworld: Short Fiction from the Latin Americas - but since that was published in 2002, it might not be available in ebook format

Okay that explains a lot. I read the story in an english textbook and was thoroughly impressed. Such an incredible story, I highly advise it to anybody, well, if they can find an english edition.

I had not heard of it before, but sounds intriguing - especially with the comment "greatest story you ever read"
