This is from the covered bridge to the Chihuly glass museum in Tacoma.

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Very cool, Jackie.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I'm guessing yours is a Vermeer, Jonathan? It's very soothing. :)

message 8: by Jonathan (last edited Aug 25, 2011 02:55PM) (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments It's by a close contemporary of Vermeer, named Gerrit Berckheyde, who did mostly cityscapes. This one is of the Herengracht in Amsterdam.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I suck at print screen resizing so it looks like I have this grainy ass pic on my desktop and I don't. It's actually a cool picture, I just failed at resizing to make it big enough to see. It's actually an upside down reflection that I flipped.

Yes, I was so incredibly lazy that I white boxed out stuff real quick in paint because I have secrets to HIDE!

You're a woman of mystery, Stacia.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I would claim porn, but nope. Not even close.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) This used to be my old desktop pic.

That actually hadn't occurred to me. I was thinking more along the lines of international intrigue, espionage, etc.

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments same with me helena although mine is a pic i took in haiti about 18 months ago of a hotel and i love it so i have left it up a bit longer than normal

message 23: by Helena (new)

Helena | 1056 comments Sometimes I do that, a pic that I really love- I’ll leave it up for a while. Yours is pretty cool, it looks like it should be a screensaver. I have no talent with photography- so some of my screen savers are appealing only to me!

message 24: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11846 comments I have mine rotating through photos of a trip last year to Zion National Park. These are some of the shots I took.

message 25: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I love that place.

Angela~twistedmind~ (twistedmind) | 538 comments Awesome, Phil. I find myself slightly jealous.

message 27: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11846 comments Don't be. That's my everyday scenery, but I have to live in Utah to have it.

message 28: by Mary (new)

Mary (merrussell) Zion is terrific and I love Bryce too

message 29: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Phil, I have almost the exact same photo from Zion - the first one. Was that from in one of the campsites?

I think it was from an official viewpoint. I had my mom with me on that trip so we mostly stuck to the easiest-to-reach places.
