Sarah,I'm wondering if you might do a special blog about the first book in the indie series: Prophecy of the Flame.
The book isn't free - for good reason. 100% of the proceeds from this book goes to a 501(c)(3) charity that helps homeless families with children get back on their feet and become productive again.
This includes the income from movie that is being based on this novel.
Let me know if you think this is something that you think you can work into your blog.
Many thanks for the consideration,
Lynn Hardy

Lynn, this is definitely NOT something I can do as part of the regular Friday Feature but....
I would consider doing a separate blog post on it for you. Are you on Facebook with this project? If you are, the best thing to do would be to post to my Webbiegrrl Writer Facebook Page
on the Wall there with a link to the book and or any / all information you'd like to add about the project in the comments. I allow posts to my Wall by "fans" of the Page (please do make sure to "like" the Page before posting or you'll definitely be filtered out as a SPAMMER by Facebook's stricter spamming rules the last few weeks)
In addition to providing me with a convenient place where the information can be obtained to create a blog for you, that'll give you an interim platform to promote the project. Please don't post repeatedly. Just once :) but do feel free to post once and I'll reply in the comments when I figure out when/how to slot the special feature into the blog schedule.
Today's Freebie Friday for the long, holiday weekend is up with a double blast of free reads to tide you over:http://webbiegrrl.blogspot.com/2011/09/freebie-friday-2-sep-happy-laborday-usa.html

Michelle wrote: "I finally looked at this message board, and I'm glad I saw it, lol. Love the blog and all of your ideas :)"Thanks, Michelle! I'm glad you still found something useful there. I had to stop the Freebie Friday featuring other authors a few weeks ago. In fact I think Regan, Kirsten and Roger's feature was the last one :-( I'll miss promoting other authors, as it was a great way for me to meet and get to know my colleagues, but my day job schedule precludes maintaining the publishing schedule. Having one "weekend" blog where I give something away and never know ahead of time what it'll be is pretty much as committed as I can get with the day job the way it is. Hopefully, by this time next year, I'll have sold enough copies of my first book (coming out around New Year's +/- ) that I can quit the day job entirely. I might actually bring the Freebie Friday back!
Meanwhile I'm doing a different "Freebie Friday" this week (and last week) where I just snippet out of the book I'm editing. Pretty small time committment and readers get a free glimpse into the SciFi thriller to come! Plus it's still free :-)

On Fridays, I give away free books. ^_^ Here's this week's:
http://webbiegrrl.blogspot.com/2011/08/freebie-friday-aug26-smashwords.html
Normally, I have just 3 books I showcase but this week there are 4 (the first one's a short short--2200 words!) Sometimes, I'll showcase one author who has multiple books, at least one of which is offered for free (forex, last week I featured Danny Gillan when he reissued his first novel, Will You Love Me Tomorrow. I did an interview with him showcasing his other books, including the one he's giving away free, A Selection of Meats & Cheeses, a collection of shorts, which actually hit #1 on the Amazon UK list of fiction anthologies! And you can still get it FREE via Smashwords.
I'm an Indie Author and usually, the books being offered are also by Indie Authors. Normally, I never ever mention my own book. This week's answer to the blog hop question is a rare exception! I had to laugh at myself because, I mean, really? 183,000 words? That's a loooooong book (click through to read the blog hop and you'll get this joke).
I hope you enjoy the free reads and if no one objects, I'd like to post here each Friday to tell you about the new free reads.
I'll just keep the one thread right here in this Sales and Cheap Books discussion area unless directed to do otherwise. I'll make a new comment each week so just look for the newest one for the current link (or simplify your life and subscribe to my blog *haha* hey, it's free on Facebook, Blogger and Google - you don't have to get it on your Kindle If you do, the 99c / mo subscription fee is just to enjoy the luxury of having it delivered automagically by WhisperNet)
