RP for Muggle Art Class
Professor Alexandro Phillips

Nyx walked in on her first day of class. She loved art, but was pretty sure Muggle art would look boring. It didn't move, after all.

"Welcome to Muggle art Class My Name is Alexandro Phillips, now do you have any muggle painting material?" Phillips asked

Serena holds up her paintbrush and paper. "Will this do?"

"Yes, What do you plan on painting?"

"Not sure, it will come to me."

"Wait, I would like you to try a concept call Absraction, or Abstract art, now does anyone know what this?"

"It's when you draw shapes and lines and they can look like something."

"Very Good, And your house?"

Nyx decided to raise her hand, something she rarely did.

"My house is Gryffindor professor."

"5 points to Gryffindor, Yes Nyx" Phillips said

"Professor, how exactly did the Muggles start doing this kind of art?" Nyx inquired.

"A Very Good Question, We Will Be Learning This In The Theroy Part Of This CLass, Now I Would Think You Would Go To The Library To Reasearch This More But You Will Find No Books On Muggle Art In The Library If You Would Like Books On The Muggle Art Topic See Me After Class" Phillips Replied

"Now Lets Begain To Paint" Phillips Said As He Brought Out Canvases

Serena started to paint circles and triangles connecting them to each other to make other shapes. She painted the circles red and the triangles green.

"Very Good, when you are done come and get me" Phillips said as he went and sat at his desk

Nyx decided to make splatters and random lines with her paintbrush, all in shades of purple.

"Very Good Nyx!, What is your house?" Phillips said

"Ravenclaw," she answered, a small smile creeping onto her face. The thrill of being a Ravenclaw had never gone away for her.

"As I said when you are finished come get me" Phillips said

Serena finished her painting of triangles and circles painted red and green. The triangles were connected to the circles like a chain. "I think i am finished professor."

"GOOD, Now tell me what you see in your painting"

She blurted the first thing that came to mind. "The Hogwarts Express.."

Nyx brought her painting quietly to the Professor's desk.

"Wonderful! Now if you will go place it on the table in the corner as Muggle paint does need to dry, and when your done you can gey a book of the shelf" Phillips said as he walked over to his desk to look a Nyx's work "What do you see in this painting?" he asked

Serena placed her painting on the table to dry. "Which professor should I get?"

"Which ever you want I think there is one about Muggle Art, as I have to make a stop a Florish and Blotts to get some new ones"

Serena picks up a book on an artist called "Paintings of Light" by Thomas Kinkade and sits back down to look over the book.

Nyx put a her painting away then picked up a book about an artist named Vincent Van Gogh. She had never heard of him. Intrigued, she began to read.

"Class dismissed, Next Class you will be telling the class what you have painted" Phillips said

"Sounds good, Professor," Nyx said. She was starting to like Muggle Art.

Phillips smiled then returned to his book

Nyx walked in happily.

Serena walked in with her book under her arm.

"Serena come get your painting place it on the stand at the front of the class and explain to the class what you painted" Phillips said

Serena got her painting and came to the front of the class. "I painted a series of circles and triangles. The triangles in green and the circles in red. Then as I looked at it, I thought it looked like the Hogwarts Express."

Nyx liked the painting a lot, but she saw a sort of squished cat. Oh well, she thought, it's abstract, after all.

"Very Good!, Nyx your turn and have any of you seen Alice Pine, cause she has three overdue detention" Phillips said while writting down Serena's mark

"I don't know her Professor."

"That suprises me!" Phillips said "I will have to go see the Headmistress", "Nyx watch the class, you are incharge" Phillips said as he stormed out of the class
