As I read freakonomics I was continually impressed with the way ideas were compared throughout the novel. What impressed me most was how the authors were able to switch between abortion, to real estate, to the in and outs of crack dealing and yet keep a unifying theme throughout the book and idea that easily kept the reader (at least me) interested throughout the whole book. While reading the book I couldn't wait to turn the page and find out how they were going to further prove their ideas, or to even see what issue they were going to throw economics at next. By creating ways to answer some difficult, and odd, questions Levitt and Dubner have, most likely, brought many more students into the field of economics.
