AP Chiefs discussion

An idea that really surprised me during the beginning half of the book was how easily Peekay was able to make decisions. This point really stuck out to me when Peekay realized how much the Jewish people were blamed and as he realizes this he says "someday I want to be Jewish." The reason this stuck out to me so much is because it showed hwo much Peekay excepted being different sometimes. Right before claiming someday he wanted to be Jewish, he realized that Jewish people were treated unfairly for no understandable reason. Peekay had his own reasons for wanting to be Jewish, but that shouldn't understate the courage it would've taken to become Jewish during those times in the world. This idea really showed me how much courage had.
