Alec ate an apple, leaning on a tree trunk

Raven sat on the edge of the river, glaring at the water, she wore dark skinny jeans with black converse and a black tank top. Her make up had the shadow effect and her long hair was curled and rested on her right shoulder.

Alec grinned, noticing her. He had never met her before, which was a first, "Hello." he muttered, standing behind her

Raven looked up at him. A stranger. She carefully scans his body, looking for any sign that he might hurt her. When she doesn't see any, she quietly says, "Hi."

Alec noticed her scan, grinning slightly, "So you think I'd say hello if I were only going to hurt you when I turned around? I'm Alec, by the way."

Raven looked back at the water. Glaring. "The only thing people want to do is hurt others in this world." She muttered softly.

Alec plopped beside her, looking beyond the river, "I suppose your right."

She looked over at him. "So, what do you want if your mot trying to hurt me?" She asked, just loud enough to be heard.

Alec shrugged, cutting another slice of an apple, "I've never seen you before. I don't usually meet strangers."

"I don't usually talk to other people unless needed." Raven says,

At that moment, Emily appears out of the water. Her silvery scales glistening in the light, and her long blonde hair flowing down accross her back. She looks at both Alec and Raven and says hello. Her light blue eyes dancing with delight.

Alec smiled at Emily, "Hello."

Emily makes herself comfortable on a low rock, and stares at both Alec and Raven. She notices how handsome Alec is, and blushes and looks down.

Alec looks at her, confused as to why her face is red. "You're Emily, right?" but he had slipped. He shouldn't have known that. he cursed to himself

She looks up and answers, "yes I am.
You must be Alec."

Alec blinks oh no "How do you know me?" he asks, hoping that she didn't know him as a Prince. That life was past him

Raven slowly crawled away, hoping she wasn't noticed. She walked away, a little ways off and sat down.

Alec turned, worried. "Raven?"

Raven looked over. She slowly got up, eyeing him. "I didn't give you my name." She said softly, walking right up to him. She stared into his eyes, which weren't exactly human-like. "What are you?" She asked quietly.

Alec cursed himself again. This wasn't going well.

She grinned. "I knew it! You aren't human are you?!" She asked.

"That's not true. I am human...just...more." he muttered, trying to think of the right phrasing

Raven raised an eyebrow. "Like a freak?" She asked lightly.

Alec laughed, "No...or maybe I suppose you could say so. I'm a Necromancer."

Raven eyes widened. "That is way kewler than m-I mean.." She straightened and gave a polite smile. "Thats kewl."

Alec raised an eyebrow. "Ok, spill, what are YOU?"

Raven laughed slightly. "I guess thats only what I need to know. My secret, sorry." She smiled.

Alec shrugged, "Well, ok, I guess."

"So..how did you know my name?" She asked, looking at him curiously.

Alec shrugged, "The dead now a lot."

Raven nodded, thinking. "Thats.." She looked at the river, losing her train of thought when seeing it.

Alec sighed, "I know, it's weird."

Raven looked over, she blinked. "Oh..yeah." She kicked a stone into the river.

Alec looked confused, "What's up?"

She looked up at him. "What? Oh- nothing. I just don't know what else to say.." She laughed slightly.

Alec grinned, "As in wow you're your such a freak or wow you're so awesome?"

"A little bit of both." Raven admitted, smiling slightly.

Alec laughed, "Well that's fair."

Raven smiled. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed, staring past him.

Alec raised an eyebrow, wondering what she was hiding but respecting her privacy

Raven blinked, looking down, still unsure of what to say. "Uh.."

"So nice weather we're having." Alec muttered, grinning slighly

Raven smiled, the tiniest smile and looked up at him, leaning closer. "So what else can you do?"

Alec smiled wickedly, "A lot things. what about you?"

Raven grinned. "Lots." She agreed.

Alec laughed, "Glad we got that covered."

She nodded, shyly looking at the ground. "Name one." She said.

"umm..let's see..." He muttered, grinning, "I can raise the dead and such..."
