Calouri pulled back the arrow and then released. It cut through the air, and pierced the white fur of a small hare. "Perfect!" she exclaimed, and ran to get her catch.
Krone leaned against the trunk of a fine tree next to the embankment of Crystl Lake. With not a care in the world.
Midnight, Calouri's horse, trotted behind her as she gently oicked up the bleeding hare. She placed it in a leather bag and ran into the thicker part of the forest.
Krone started awake as he heard hoofbeats heading his way.
Caulori came to a clearing, tied Midnight to a pine, and started to set up a camp. "Rabbit stew tonight." she told the horse, and started to skin her catch.
Calouri started a fire, and let the soft meat roast on a spit. After setting up a neat little tent, she sat down and began to clean the pure white fur.
He sat up as he saw several guards galloping his way. Great. He thought.
The patrol came to a halt a few feet away from Krone. the leader dismounted, pulling a small scroll from his saddlebags in the process and walked over to Krone.
Calouri followed the brooke until it poured into the lake. She gasped, and crouched behind a shrub. "Why are all these men here?" she asked herself.
"Krone of the western lands you have been placed under arrest for treason against his majesty King Pryge.." The leader of the band announced reading from the scroll. "Oh do spare me the trouble. I won't go if I don't want to." Krone said with a bored sigh.
"Interesting..." Calouri muttered, and ran to the other side to the lake to get closer to the scene.
That brought the lead guard on edge. "You are under arrest!" He reiterated emphatically, beckoning to his fellow guards they dismounted and closed around Krone. "Seven to one hardly seems fair for you, you might want to call for reinforcements." Krone mocked.
((uh well... a bunch of stuff really, just small bits and pieces))
Three soldiers charged at Krone, with a flick of his wrist he threw his dagger into the chest of the first warrior.
rolling to the side, the remaining two soldiers barreled into the tree trunk. Jumping up on the balls of his feet, Krone drew his sword.
Both dazed soldiers regaining their senses, they turned towards Krone, moving in a more cautious manner this time, so as to get a good measure of their opponent.
Twirling his blade he brought a feinting thrust into his first opponent before whirling into his unsuspecting comrade, sinking his blade deep within his chest.
Krone gave a sidelong glance to Calouri before parrying aside the soldiers blade. "Just the usual." He said casually.
"But I didn't expect them to chase me this far from the city."
"Why are you running anyways?" Calouri asked, jabbing her blade into one of the last soldier's helm.
Soon the pair had most of them down save for the leading captain who stood with his face pale.
"Well apparently I didn't fare too well with being the King's weapon master." Krone turned his attention back to the leading patrolman. "I'll let you head back to your king to tell him I'm not coming."
Calouri smiled, then realized what she had been doing before. My dinner is probably black by now...and such a good hare, too.
Krone sniffed. "Is the forest on fire?" He asked.
Krone smiled and headed over to the cookfire. "Pity, nice catch too."
Myst did a back bend trying to figure out what she was going to eat. as she read the labels upside down the was the smell of some thing burning. Myst ran out side to see what it was.
Arida shot her arrow high into the forest. it arced upward and down. It went straight into the forest and it accidentally killed a rabbit near Calouri.
Calouri gasped as an arrow barely passed her. She picked up the rabbit it had pierced and inspected the arrow. "Nice feather design." she commented, and looked in the direction of the shooter.
Calouri looked at Myst suspiciously. "Who else is there?!" she called out, knowing that Myst couldn't possibly have been the one to shoot the rabbit.
Calouri searched the bushes a little longer, before turning to Myst. "So you're a fool...or a performing minstrel? Wait, wait...if you were a minstrel you'd have your instrument...gypsy?"
Myst shrugged " I went to get some fire wood and when i came back i heard struggling" she went on " knights had attacked them and were tying them up when i got there so i hid in a tree." she said this as if talking about the weather . then " can you help me find them?" she asked
"Can we wait until tomorrow? I've had enough knights for today, and the sun is setting." Calouri replied, and looked around her tidy little camp. "You can pitch your tent here if you want."
Calouri crawled into her tent and tossed the gypsie a blanket. "I'd offer you room in my tent, but it's kinda small."
"myst looked up ill get my suff from my camp site" she said she got up went to her tent and brought back a pack full of her stuff
