The hardcore anarchopunks of Indonesia feature in my book, AmalgaNations. In particular - Jakarta, Bali and Aceh.
I'll launch my debut novel, China Sea, in about two weeks. It's an espionage thriller with settings in Bali and Sulawesi and elsewhere in Southeast Asia. Can anyone give me an update on how easy or difficult it is now to order on Amazon and each of the ebook distributors in Indonesia?

Hi, I'm from Indonesia. While it is not so hard to order books from Amazon, it would take a generally long time to get the books in our hand. There are some known retailers in the bigger cities that sell English books, but usually they are from best sellers list.

Thanks Rey. I realize it will be tough to sell in Indonesia. Too bad they make it difficult to buy on Kindle iTunes and Amazon.

Hi, currently free on Kindle for anyone wanting a wild ride in Indonesia. This was the Guardian's Self-published Book of the Month, and was also published by Tuttle Asia. "Jalan Jalan captures perfectly what it is to be young and adrift in southeast Asia. By turns ribald and tender, and with many moments of strange magic, this is a novel suffused with heartbreak, humidity, and the scent of clove cigarettes." --Tim Hannigan, author of A Brief History of Indonesia
