I thought Shade had an interesting thing going on with the worldbuilding. I read the 2nd, Shift, and was disappointed. I think I'll be waiting to hear what other have to say about it before I give it the time.
This series was so so for me. I probably won't read the books again and I don't really care to own the books (even though I already do, they were a gift). I loved the idea of the books and I found myself rooting for Logan even though I knew that what I was rooting for was impossible. I really enjoyed Logans character at first, but after awhile even he got boring and well annoying. The third book was tedious and it took me a long time to read. I think the author dragged the series out and should have only made one or possibly two books.
