Book or Movie better?

I like the movies, but I think the books are the best for now...
The movie was good but the books are so funny. There is something about a book that you can't beat. Sorry, movies.

Book by far. The movie wasn't anywhere NEAR as funny as the book. I actually didn't like the movie that much.

i liked the movie and the book. the both the movies are classic. i have watched both the movie minimum 25-30 times. and i am waiting for the third one.:)
Agreed with Maria B. Mescudi/Graham! The movie hasn't even come out yet! But is there gonna be 1?
definately agree...while the movie was cute. the books are way better and funnier. didn't really care for the kid the picked to be greg.

dog days was a mix of last straw and dog days but the movie dog days was better than the rest of the movies. But in all the book are better
I think it is still gonna be a long time before the movie comes out. rodrick rules(book 2) movie version just came out in April 2011

The book times 10 but i still liked the movie a lot it wasnt actually a SUCK EGGS movie you know?
This series of books is immensely better than their movies counterparts are/will be. The stick figure type of illustration is brilliant for young kids to focus more on the words on the page. My ten year old devours these books as have I.
The movies stink! The books are more interesting. In class last year, when we watched it, everybody was like,
