Sammi sat in a tree and was listening to Someone Like You by Adele.

((I've been listening to that exact song all day!))

((No really I was jamming out and then Colin got mad because he was trying to read and apparently couldn't leave the room!))

Sammi left

Sammi walked around

Kaleb reaches the prairie looking around for a place to be accepted.

She turned on her Ipod and looked around

Kaleb lays in the high grasses and looks at the skies

She walks over to Kaleb,"Are you a lycan?"

Sammi sat on the ground and took out her book. she began to draw.

"Uh why does it matter?" He wonders if he is about to be turned over to human athority.

"No, just curious"she shrugged and walked away

"Are you?"

Sammie stopped running and fell to the ground, tired.

Nathan caught up, bending over to catch his breath. Then he saw Sammie, and rushed over to her. "Are you alright?" He asked, gasping for air.

She nodded,"So...tired"she shifted into wolf form. She stood up and barked

((I thought you left!))

Nathan slightly backed off, wondering if she would bite him. "Um, are you still there, Sammie?"

She panted and barked again.

((You're back!))

"Sammie . . . ?" Nathan took another tentative step backward. "Seriously, bark once if you understand, and . . . don't eat me if you can't."

[yup! I just read Twisted by Gena Showalter. If you read the series you need to read that book! It's amazing!]

She licked his hand and purred almost like a cat.

((Sorry! Oh, brb!))

"Alright, that'll do," Nathan laughed nervously. "At least I know you're still in there." I hope so.

She barked and tehn shifted back to human. Her clothes were slightly tattered,"I"m always me when i shift"

"Good," Nathan sighed. "If you ripped me to shreds and killed me, I would've . . . I don't know. Just don't do it."

"I would never"she frowned, people always assumed that's what Lycan's did.

"Sorry," Nathan said helplessly. "Sorry for assuming things. Anyway, you look like you could use new clothes. Want me to lend you some?"

She shook her head,"These are fine"

"You look like you went through hell and came back," Nathan raised an eyebrow. "But sure, why not? So, lets start our adventuring?" It sounded so childish to Nathan, but it sent a wave of excitement through him.

She smiled, sensing is excitement,"Okay, where do you wanna go first?"

"I heard there are good mercenary jobs at the Black Hub," Nathan explained. "Let's go to the Port and ask for things to do. First things first; we need money."

She looked through her bag,"I have $235. 68"

((Dollars?! xD I was thinking of some other currency, actually.))

[what currency?]

((Oh, um, should I create a new one? I don't know.))

[sure!]

((Wait, I think that would confuse people too much! Yeah, let's stick to dollars. Only difference is the coins are gold. :D))

Sammi stood up,"How much do you have?"

Nathan frowned for a second. "How do you have more than me? I have around 200."

She shrugged, "I don't know"

Nathan shrugged like it was nothing and moved on. "Alright, so we have around 400 to spare. I want to have some fun first before we have to go fighting monsters and that stuff."

She nodded and looked through her bag. She put her glasses on and smiled,"So...where to first?"

"Let's go to the hub," Nathan thought about it. "From there, we can decide what to do."

She nodded and picked up her backpack,


Archer saw Sammi and was going to walk up to her, but then saw they boy. Who was he? And why was he talking to his girl?

Nathan was ready to go, but then he saw Archer. "Um, Sammi." He subtly gestured toward Archer.

Sammi saw Archer and smiled. She grabbed Nathan by the arm and pulled him as she walked over,"Archie!"

He sighed and then smiled,"Hey Sammi. I was wondering where you were......who's this?"he looked at Nathan

"Oh," Nathan cleared his throat. "I'm Nathan." He held out a hand for Archer.

Acher shook his hand,"Hi" Afterwards, he looked at Sammi,"I was hoping we could go out..."


Sammi shook her head,"I can't, me and Nathan have a place to be. But I'll see you later, promise"she kissed his cheek
