Time-Life Books as an author?

A lot of times the publisher gets put in as the author. I fix them when I can, in this case since you know the correct author you should fix it.
I'll fix the few books I know can be attributed to Lincoln Barnett, without keeping Time-Life Books even as secondary author. That'll still leave an awful lot without a real author, too much to sort out without actually having the books. An Herculean job for another time...

Not that my opinions often carry any weight, but taking into consideration the number of books Time-Life publishes in a specific series, I think it would make perfect sense, when a book IS part of a Time-life series (e.g., The Enchanted World) to list "Time-Life-Books" as a secondary author with "Series Publisher" as role. It would make life so much easier when conducting a search...

It has a lot of books (even 2 fans!) and a few fellows: http://www.goodreads.com/author/simil...
I thought it wasn't good practice to have a company as an author, but now I wonder, because there's even a description on the profile page.
So what is the policy for that?
