Once Megan made it to the beach, she flung off her shoes and stomped angerly throught the sand and salt water, letting it run throught her toes. She couldn't understand why everyone kept treating her like a little kid, someone with no opinion. Tyler should have understood that Ali needs to go, even if I don't agree with it, she thought. She looked out at the ocean; seagulls were flying above the water. It was a beautiful view, too nice for how Megan was feeling.

After walking for a minute, thinking about her very complicated life, a giant rock wall appeared in front of her. She started climbing bare foot, half way up, her foot slipped and she jammed her knee on a small ledge. She didn't even cry out, she just kept climbing. When you got to the top, there was a small grove of trees. If someone were to go west until they reached the edge, there would be a ledge about 10 feet below. Megan jumped down with the skills of a cat and sat on the rock with her feet hanging, swinging back and forth. This was her favorite spot on the whole beach, it was her private place to think. And she liked it.

Along the beaten sandy path towards the beach, Trevor and Scarlet walked. Scarlet held her shoes in one hand and fixed her windswept hair with the other. She became comfortable talking to Trevor, and they continued to talk until they reached the pier. There was a slight breeze and Scarlet shivered, forgeting her sweater at home. Trevor made the kind gesture of putting his coat over her shoulders. She looked up at him and said, "Thank you Trevor," and smiled at him.

The sun started to set in the distance. She smiled as the sky changed from yellow, to orange, to pink, then purple, with the sky extending above her head into a deep blue. This was what she always came for, to see the colors the sky could make. There was silence for a long time, her watching the sky. Then all of the sudden, she heard someone speak. It was far off, so they wouldn't be able to see her. She picked her feet up and crouched low on the ledge just in case.
As soon as she had done that, two strangers appeared around the ridge of rocks. One women and man, the woman apparently wearing his coat. She crouched perfectly still, not even willing to breath.

Scarlet looked up at the sky, it was beautiful.
The colors melted together so perfectly, like a painting. She continued to look up and said, "I have never seen such a beautiful sky. The stars are just starting to appear through the colors. The clouds blanket the moon." Trevor said, "I agree, it's just perfect." Then he looked into her eyes and said, "The stars don't sparkle like your eyes though." He smiled, pleased with himself. Scarlet blushed, and said, "Awe, your so sweet." They then found a comfortable place to sit, where the view was just right and they could dangle their legs over the pier. Trevor put his arm around her and they both continued to look at the stars. Scarlet realized he had his arm around her, but she liked the feeling. She rested her head on his shoulder. Then, there was a sound, they weren't alone.
Startled, they looked around warrily. Then out of the corner of her eye, Scarlet spotted a young girl. She was crouched low, watching them.

Megan's smiled to herself. Awwww...what a gentleman. Then the girl looked up at her. Her eyes widened; she crouched lower hoping they wouldn't notice her. She just needed them to look away for a moment so she could slip over the edge of the ledge and hide in the trees until they would have left. Then she could go down on the beach, grab her shoes and run home, FAST!!!!

Lune walked on to the beach, barefoot. She was holding the handle of her violin case, her dog trotting after her.

Megan heard more footsteps just around the cliff edge as well, the girl below was still looking up at her with a mysterious smile on her face. She thought for a moment about what she could do, RUN, Megan's instinct seemed to yell at her. So she hopped up, turned around and started climbing up the edge, her bare feet scraping against the dark rock.

She finally made it to the top, with her bow and arrows strapped around her side. She peeked over the edge again, wondering who was going to appear around the corner. The girl and the boy were looking up at her now, with questionable looks on their faces. Then she backed up against a tree, praying that the stranger she didn't see wouldn't find her shoes on the beach.

Megan saw the stranger turn the corner, she barely even looked at her. The couple that was sitting just below her was momentarily distracted and she took the opportunity. She ran along the top of the cliff, wedged herself through the trees like she had been there a million times, came to the other side, and started almost falling down the entire side.

"I'm going to pay for this later," she whispered to her aching body from being thrown against the rock trying to get down. She finally made it to the bottom and sprinted towards where her shoes had been thrown. Just like I left them she though, picking them up. Megan glanced behind her and saw all three strangers looking at her now, almost out of view of the cliff. The boy stood up, then the girl did.

RUN! She sprinted for the forest, hoping they wouldn't follow, not even having enough time to slip her shoes back on. She headed straight for her home, hoping Tyler would be there waiting. She was pretty sure Ali wouldn't be there, still on the mission. Which she didn't support at all, but Ali had wanted it that way, so she wouldn't argue.

She couldn't hear footsteps behind her, but who could tell, she was breathing so hard from sprinting that there could have been someone right behind her and she wouldn't have known. Then is suddenly came to view.

Her home.
