Chrissie I was blown over by the ability of this author to bring life to this couple. After reading this, I have tried to get my hands on more by this author. Some biographers are so dam DRY. Massie is the opposite! Here is my spoiler-free review: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Robert K. Massie is coming out with a book on Catherine the Great in November. I have bugged Random house incessantly about it being available on Kindle, and yup it will be! I will ddefinitely be reading it. Here is the link to that book: Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman
