In a suburb of Dublin called Marino, there is "Marino Casino" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casino_a...), a small but perfectly formed house built on top of a hill for the Earl of Charlemont, to give him a great view down into Dublin Bay.
Naturally Charlemont was not on best terms with his next door neighbour, who owned the land between Charlmont's and the bay. In a fit of pique, Marino Cresent was built in Clontarf to spoilt the previously uninterrupted view of the bay from the Casino.
Stoker was born and brought up at number 15 Marino Cresent
