Lush Library discussion

So we have two books to choose from this month, it's American Gods or The Magic Toyshop. Personally, I'm already reading Amercian Gods so I'll continue with that. I've not managed to read too much of last months book though so plan to keep reading it. I want to read The Magic Toyshop but I think that'll have to just go on my to read pile and I'll get to it when I can.

What's your plan?

I've started TMT because it seemed so slim in comparison. I'm about 40% the way through from today alone. I got a copy off ebay when it was mentioned so many times in the voting stage and then was entered in the poll. I'll go on to American Gods straight after - it's been waiting to be read for far too long!

I'm going to start with the Magic Toyshop as I've already bought it and will get a copy of American Gods to read afterwards as TMT is a short book.

I already have TMT from many years ago, so will read that again ... and I'm going to order a copy of American Gods from Amazon in a bit. I've wanted to read something by Neil Gaiman for a while, so this will be an opportunity :)
Hope I can find enough time to read both books, I'll try anyway!

I'll be reading American Gods! That's what I voted for and I've been wanting to read more Neil Gaiman for some time.

I have ordered both from Amazon, will hopefully manage them both

I've ordered TMT so am waiting for that to come. I might try the other one if I find it at the library!

I've read American Gods a couple of times before and it's one of my favourites. Think I'll read TMT this time around as it's something new but I'll probably join in the discussion of both. Then I'll want to read American Gods again anyway so I'll probable be reading both!

I have just received my copy of American Gods. I do not think I will read TMT.

I've already read American Gods, so I think it's got to be The Magic Toyshop for me. I love Angela Carter.

Oh dear, I've not even started American Gods yet and only have a few days left before next book starts.

I have my American Gods book here and unstarted as I'm still on The Book Thief! Trying desperately to find more reading time ...
Anyways The Night Circus arrived today - so I'll finish TBT and then go straight on to that.

I'd agree with skipping American Gods until you have the time to enjoy it. I'm reading Miss Peregrine's home first - addictive.
