This is a place to discuss about those books that you know will make you feel sad, heart broken, scared or disturbed in the end. In short you fear them but that doesn't stop you from reading them.

For me some of them are
by Lucy ChristopherEven before reading this book I knew that I am not going to get a happy ending but there was something challenging about this book that made it hard to stay away from. Heart broken I was in the end but loved the book so much that I will reread it any day to get the same feeling.
by Jodi PicoultMost Jodie Picoult books makes you feel emotional. The Pact is not an exception. But curiosity got the better of me and I read this book.
Guess what it does make you feel sad but that is not the only emotion you feel. You also feel helpless and outraged. But above all you feel a lingering sense of hope that makes it a worth read.
by Stieg LarssonFair warning about the book tells you that it is not meant for the weak hearted. But that didn't stop it from becoming a bestseller and me from reading it. Guess I never knew how weak hearted I was before reading this book.
Another book I fear is going to make me an emotional wreck in the end but makes me want to read it anyway is
by Tabitha SuzumaI guess I will read it one of these days.
This book looks really interesting but, I have a vivid imaganation and I don't know if I could handle it.

For me there are
and
Those are the most emotional, heart breaking and beautiful written book i ever read.
And maybe
I didn't understand the end - if it was good or bad, but i felt bad like something bad had happened and i have no idea why, but days after i read it, when i remembered about it i felt like crying.

For me it's got to be Shirley Jackson's works. So disturbing, but i can't stay away from them. I read 'We Have Always Lived in the Castle' in one night, and then had nightmares about it, LOL. I love her work, she's an amazing, amazing writer. http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

For me the book has to be
. Any Jodi Picoult book is enough to make me cry but that doesn't always stop me.
