Appearance: short bright orange hair that, no matter what she does to it always spikes out. A nice angular face with freckle and red lips. Striking bright green eyes. She is about 5'4" and pretty muscular. She will wear just about anything, if it's comfortable. She always wears bright orange, yellow and red crochet flower earring, an Eiffel tower necklace, and a leather choker with a gold shell on it.

Josh was walking, on his way to the school.

Ava run out of her house closing her backpack as she went. If she didn't hurry she would be late, again, for the 3 time this week.

((we are getting along, and sharing sort of! Lol.))

He was walking along the side walk, he nearly walked into her, she was going so fast.

"Sorry, I'm so sorry." Ava apologized, "I sleep too late and school starts too damn early!"

"Calm down," he chuckled, "It's okay, you have plenty of time,"

"Not according to my mother." then in a high squeaky voice she said, "'Ava, git your bum out of bed or youll be late!' I don't even look at the clock when she says that, I just throw on some cloths and fly out of the house."

He smiled, "You have twenty minuets," he held out his hand, "Josh,"

"Thank God, but I don't think it would be wise to go back in for a pop tart." She said taking his hand,"Ava"

He smiled and shook it, "Mabye not,"

"Yeah, she will guard the door like the three-headed dog that guards Hades. It wouldn't be pretty. But," Ava said opening her backpack and pulling out a protein bar, "I've had too many days like this not to be prepared, want one?"

He shook his head, "Thanks, but I ate already,"

"I haven't if you couldn't tell." Ava told him closing the backpack and opening the package, "Shall we start off?" she said as she took a bite.

He smiled, "Of course," he started walking towards the school

"Thanks for calming my nerves, and stopping me from arriving at school too early."

He smiled, "Sure, anytime, so you're in tenth grade?" he asked, slightly nervously.

"Yes, what do I look like I'm in middle school?" Ava asked sarcastically.

He looked at her surprised, "No, I was just trying to figure out if you've been in any of my classes,"

"Je ne sais pas. Maybe. I'm either paying attention or my mind is far away." Ava said.

He smiled, "Same, school is not my favorite subject,"

Ava looked at Josh confused, "School isnt a subject. There are subjects in school. But school itself isn't a subject."

"I know," he looked away, God I'm so stupid! he thought.

Ava laughed, "It's ok, everyone does that sometimes. Just a slip of the tongue or as Sir Hiss puts in the cartoon Robin Hood, 'A simpleslip ofthe forked tongue, sire.'"

He smiled at her, glad she didn't think he was an idiot.

Ava grinned, this guy is kinda cool. she thought as they walked up to the school.

"What class do you have first hour?" he asked her.

"Lucky, well not really. I hate math. It's not hard, just super annoying and too precise." Ava said "It has to be perfect, you can't just go at it and mess up a little and have it still work out."

"I don't like it very much either," he said walking towards his locker.

"Dont trip over anything!" Ava warned turning to hers.

He looked at her questioningly.
