I have NO IDEA how to role play, I've been meaning to try it but I just don't know how. Anybody care to tell me?

Well hey there Alli, it's not that difficult really, effectively it's telling a story through controlling (writing as) a character in the story. But methinks we need more members first:( But you're welcome to try:D Any particular genre of book you enjoy reading?

Well I was kind of asking how it works, like do you just post stuff at whatever time or do you set a time where all the player come and play, and do the rules change from game to game? Any standing rules? How do you keep people from beening ass? (I have brothers) Like if the Role playing was like in a war how do to stop them from going "Oh YEAH? Well you can't shoot my cuz I drank some crazy alien drink that makes me bulletproof." Sorry I just know nothing about this.

Well generally there's a nothing can happen to another character unless the rper decides that it can happen rule or code of conduct all rpers, or role players agree to. This is to prevent what is known as Godmoding (so that a character cannot be completely invincible, but prevents them from being killed like a wimp unless the person who the character belongs to agrees to kill their character off)

Alternatively there can be a seperate thread devoted to plot discussions so that two or more rpers can hammer out a piece of action, this allows for a smooth story without edits and argument about what can or can't or did or didn't happen:p

I just decided something today while watching Fright Night, which I quite liked, even though Mintz-Plasse is a douche. I thought, why not try and reinvent some supernatural staples, like vampires, werewolves, shifters etc, put a new spin on it:)

I loves! (Me'sa Yoda talk I speak.) I'm always one for the paranormal, so much fun to write or read. And when it's done differently or even well for that matter it's always a good topic to work on, there's a little something for everybody. But if ANYBODY does that stupid 'sparkly vampire' thing they did in Twilight...... *shudders* I hate that book. I really really really hate that book.
