Promise shifted her weight and pulled her thin legs closer to her chest, covering her ears with her hands as she tried to block out the sounds of yet another group she'd been traveling with become breakfast, lunch and dinner. Standing abruptly, the fair girl slipped further away from the gruesome, but common, scene and headed for the nearest fire-exit, hoping to get somewhere she could actually sleep.

85 was killing several zombies at a time, moving with deadly accuracy and ended up getting his foot grabbed by a cut in half zombie, falling over and felt his ankle snap, not knowing what this pain he was feeling was.
Promise heard the sound of more fighting and shivered, her curiousity pushing her to take a closer look and help if need be. Slowly pulling her long knife from its sheath on her thigh she turned the corner and gasped silently, moving forward with graceful steps and cut the head off the fallen zombie, kicking it a good distance away and kneeling beside the injured man, "You alright? May I see that?" she asked, indicating his ankle.
85 nodded and stood up, wincing at the strange pain. His ankle may have been broken, but he kept running once he and Promise were away from the zombies. He didn't want to bother her because he didn't want her to know what he was. He was practically a mutant, but without the looks and super abilities. He only had enhanced speed, strength, accuracy, balance, and stealth, but only because his DNA was mixed with specific experimental liquids and through different mutation processes.
"H-hey! Hold on!" she whispered firmly, grabbing hold of his wrist and standing her ground, glancing around and pointing to a fire-escape "We'll climb up there! You'll get killed if you move around on a broken ankle." Glancing at him she kept a firm but soft grip on his wrist, waiting for him to get pissed off and walk away or agree and follow her.
(sorry, alittle short)
((no its fine))85 stopped and looked at Promise and noded, running over to the fire escape and manuevering up the latter and flipping from the wall to the platform of the fire escape. He stuck a hand out for Promise to take and threw what looked like a firecracker, except when it collided with the head of a zombie behind Promise, it's head and it fell to the ground.
Abi sat in the corner of a dark room, she heard people sneaking around outside. God, she hated people. They were stupid and noisy, and used guns way too much. Abi sighed and looked down at her hands, even in the dark she could see them clearly. Who was she kidding? She missed being human.
Promise moved quickly up the ladder, doing her best to ignore the sounds of the walking dead, not wanting to have a breakdown infront of a stranger and on a ladder. Shaking her head and grabbing his hand, she pulled herself the rest of the way up and leaned against the side of the building for a moment, letting her shivering subside and her confidence resurface.
85 looked at Promise and sat across from her, looking at the undead down below. He pulled out his pistol and with one shot he killed each zombie with one blow. He put his pistol in his tool belt and looked back at Promise with a blank face.
Abi heard shots and flinched. She had to get out of here soon, before someone found her. She knew no one would think twice about killing her. In the last few weeks, her skin and gone pale, it wouldn't be long before it went grey. It's okay, your close. Just a few more states and you'll be able to finish the cure.
Promise opened her eyes as the sound of the shots died away and feigned a smile before pushing off of the wall and moving over to the window of the fire-escape, prying it open and slipping inside, knife drawn, pausing for only a minute to let her eyes adjust to the dark.Once assured there were no copses, she lit acouple candles she kept with her and set them around so she could see better and began working on finding things to fix his ankle with.
85 looked at Promise and cocked his head, "Who are you?" he asked quietly, he hadn't ever talked before, but he had heard others speak and learned words from them.
Abi pulled herself tighter into the darkness. People. Oh, God, don't find me, please don't find me...
Promise glanced at him from where she was tearing a sheet into neat strips and paused, lowering her hands into her lap and tilting her head slightly to one side, accidently mimicing his "I'm...er..." she paused and looked like she actually had to think about ehr name "Promise...Promise Phan...But now-a-days everyone calls me Amp." she replied softly, returning to her task "And yours?"
"85," he muttered, watching Promise with a curious expression. He didn't know what an ampwas, or a promise. He didn't even know what the object she was tearing up was.
"85? Your parents must've had an odd sense of humor..." she replied socially, g;ancing around again before standing and walking over ot him with the things she had collected from around the room "May I see you ankle?" she asked softly.
Promise looked up at him startled before sitting down where she was and sighing faintly "I'm not gonna hurt you or nothing Hun, I just want to fix your ankle, its broken..." she paused and sighed again "Parents are the people who are supposed to take care of you, raise you, teach you right from wrong. They're supposed to be there for you when you need them the most...." she stated the last part somewhat bitterly before smiling at him "Are you scared of me or something 85?"
"I don't like it people touch me, unless I let them," he said, then looked away, "And I guess I've never had parents then, I was created in a lab facility until the Death started. And I don't like those Cannibals either," he said. When he said 'Death', he meant the apocalypse, and the 'Cannibals' were the zombies.
"So...all of this is new to you then?" she asked softly, looking at him with a mix of curiousity and wonder in her eyes, as if he was the coolest thing she had ever seen. Setting her supplies aside she placed her hands softly on her legs and leaned forward slightly, tilting her head softly to one side with a smile "Most people don't like those undead bastards Hun, they kinda, you know kill people?" she shook her head and leaned back, looking around the room again "Little girl, you can come out y'know. I saw you when we first came in, your pale skin nearly glows!" she called faintly, closing her eyes and shifting her legs so they were pulled close to her chest.
Latting her eyes open and turnin the direction of Abi, a small smile flitted across her lips, somewhat sad, before she returned ehr attention to 85, "Most of us were left alone...I'm sorry about your Masters though...." she murmured in reply.
(lol well that helps, ima go eat then bb to rp, finally its friday :D))
((Back, ok...hmmm.....))
Luka looked around out of an alleyway and made sure the zombies were far enought away. He bolted out of the alleyway towards a larger building. He pulled his handgun and fired at the zombie infron of the double doors. THe bullet sparked from the gun's barrel and drilled itself through the zombies head then out and hit the wall.
