Had 2 hot drinks last night and a couple of spoonfuls of cough syrup - doesn't seem to have helped.

I'm having a cuppa and a nice read on here. Then I popped into amazoo and now my blood is boiling!!! (doesn't take much to upset me at the mo!) Rotten Garscadden has accused me of being related to Shelagh Watkins because we have the same surname and so says I've written a biased review! Grrrrrrrr. If he's checked he would have seen that I've written lots of reviews. It's getting worse over there - I think that since we've moved the grumpies have taken over!

I'm awake at the normal time - although I have taken a day off work today. Not to do anything exciting - just to be available to sit with the dog at my parent's house if needed. They are having workmen replacing the sliding doors from the kitchen into the garden & if they are still there after lunch I will take over dog sitting so that mum can go & visit dad in hospital. He is supposed to be having the second attempt to remove a gallstone that has caused a blockage tomorrow. Hopefully then he will be back to normal & they will restart his chemo.
Of course I will have my kindle with me so I will be able to sit and read - haven't decided which book to start next - I have a long list of unread books on my kindle as well as a long list of ones that I want to get when I add this months voucher. I've also got a voucher due from my nectar points. Which reminds me - I understood that you don't get nectar points by buying gift vouchers, but I thought I read somewhere that you did if you got them from Sainsbugs - does anyone know anything about this?

Karen! I can't believe it, I saw that comment by garsgadden before I logged on here this morning. It's too bad when someone is mean to you after you've done something nice by leaving an author a good review. Goodness only knows that people willing to leave any kind of a review,(but particularly a nice one!)are few and far between! Garsgaddon stop scaring the nice reviewers off!!! shakes fist.

I've replied to him myself, and then I noticed that Katrina has stood up for me, (thanks Katrina) the attack is probably more likely aimed at Shelagh - but how did he know my real name? All my reivews appear as Kew on amazon - I only use my real name on here...unless he's a goodreads lurker..? lol

I vaguely recall a convo in Amazoo about the Nectar points. I'm almost sure that if you buy the card in Sainsbury's you get the points. I've not seen cards for sale in ones I've been in but I've not really looked.

Well we have a cracker of a day over here but its so cold it was impossible to feel sleepy until i got in to work where the temperature is just perfect for lulling you off to sleep
