      I found my first word while watching austin powers, te word is ignominy, it means a state of dishonor and i used it in a poem that i wrote..Will she be surprised, suprised by the actions
act as if the ignominy won't be suppressed?
sleeping next to her, waking up wishing it wasn't her, thinking of another, the ring on her finger my compassionate dishonor.
another word that i found was purgatory, i found it while i was attending a meating with the Knights of Columbus. it means theology) in Roman Catholic theology the place where those who have died in a state of grace undergo limited torment to expiate their sins. How i used the word was in a poem i made for a verse.
deep in the bacement of the mind
a blind man reads thrugh the lines
a life with out morals never fears the torment of sin, the widkedness atracts a mischievous crowd,
now a dark wating room of purgatory awaits as he contemplates he feels he will never see the golden gates,
the last word that I found was prerequisite, I found it while my teacher what kind of class I was taking, it means something that is required in advance.
The Teacher announced that the class was a prerequisite and we will be able to take the higher course after we finish this one.

the second word "Hey Mom, have you ever heard of the word consequence?" yes when I am rude to my family there are consequences they get sick of hearing from me. Consequences the first the my words.
the third word " Hey Dad, have you heard of the Gurling? yes I have said my dad" My dad said that the bears are going to have a gurling game against the Packers. I found this word in People Magazine.

my next word is Prominent: meaning standing out so as to be seen easily. I asked Jorie "have you seen anything prominent to you?" she said "clothes" i also asked her what her favorite store was Jorie said "target" i said my favorite store was "forever 21."
here is my last word: Tchotchke meaning a trinket;knickknack. i asked Jorie "have you ever seen any rare tchotchke? jorie said "she never heard of it" then she said "a plate" and i said "o.k"
 My first word is beguile. I found when I was reading an excerpt from Romeo & Juliet. It means to lead by deception. I used it when I was pretending to not take my dogs out for a walk. I said "I'll beguile Patty and Jesse that I'm not going to walk them."

The last word I found on the internet was acumen. It means to make good judgments and decisions. I used to to tell my brother I'm good at math, so he would accept my help. I said "I'm an acumen when it comes to polynomials!"

      Hey everyone!Today, my first word is ♠BARRAGE♠ which is a large volume of something or a huge amount of things happening all at once. I found it in a movie about the wars in the middle east in the 1600s.
I used it few days ago while I was summerizing the movie to my brother "...the Persians lost because their forward push was wiped by the barrage of arrows from the arabian archers..." he figured what barrage means though.
My second word is ♠ASCEND♠ and it means To go or move upward; rise. I used it yesterday when i was trying to get my brother to study more rather playing X-Box and I said "education is the best way to ascend in life bro." and he was like "i know bro" and he continued playing X-Box.
My last word is ♠VOW♠ and it means a promise to perform a specified act or behave in a certain manner. And I used in real life when i told my friend who offered me a cigarette "I vowed that I wont smoke ever in my life" and he replied "cool story bro."

Ambrosial: I heard this word while I was watching a TV show with my cousin. Ambrosial means exceptionally pleasing to taste or smell; especially delicious or fragrant. My grandparents stayed over this week and she makes the most delicious food ever. When I came home from work on Saturday I said, "What did you make, it is ambrosial!"

      Hi everyone. Here are my 3 juicy words...1.) Daft- Silly, Insane. (I found my first word reading my humanities book about Rome). At home i started writting on the walls before we coated the walls with fresh paint. My cousin agreed and so she started to draw on the wall. I responded, "Dont be daft lets just give the wall a new look nothing fancy".
2.)Sadist-One who gets pleasure from hurting others. (I found my second word from the Chicago Sun-Times). During soccer practice one of my friends was hurting another of my close friend while playing soccer. I said out loud, " Why are you so sadist?"
3.)Cot-Folding bed. (I found my last word while watching TV). At home my little brother hates folding his bed. I asked, " Why do u hate to cot?"

      Hello. My 3 juicy words....1.) Saga- Long story of heroic deeds. (I found my first word while watching ESPN sports channel.) Before the start of a soccer game for the men's soccer team. Coach likes to give a quick saga of past soccer players from OCC.
2.) Tort- Wrongful act, injury, etc. ( I found my second word skimming through a drivers ED book.) I was teaching my younger brother how to drive? And when he made an illegal turn i responded, "Jason don't be doing a tort?"
3.) Matte-Dull surface or finish. ( I found my last word hidden in the back of the Chicago Sun-Times business section.) During a jog at the trail with the older brother. I asked him, "Don't you agree that this trail is a bit matte?" He agreed and we left to the gym for a better work out.

Abaculus- meaning a small mosaic tile. i read this at work i was working at the service desk and some lady returned some tiles and i was trying to figure out what kind and started laughing when i read this and i couldn't stop saying it all day i kept going to everyone that works with me saying "do you no where i can get some abaculus" it was just funny because they didn't know what it meant, and looked at me as if i was crazy!
2.)boondoggle- a pointless activity ; waste of time/money. i also heard this word at work but an old man said this to me at that time i had no clue what it meant and i didn't want to sound dumb by asking him so i wrote it down and looked it up on my break and went back inside to mess with some of the cashiers that were boondoggling haha:)
3.)cachexia-a general wasting of the body. i was watching Law and Order SVU and they used this to describe an anorexic woman. and i was once anorexic for a little bit and i told my mother later on "people with cancer and depression or other stressfull diseases often experience cachexia." She well just stared at me with a blank face. LOL

      Hello. My 3 juicy words.1.) Stint- restrict to a small amount(I found my first word while on the blue line heading toward the Loop and reading a bill board). At home my mom likes to serve the family large amounts of food. I told my mom, " Please stint my plate. Im on a diet". She laughed at me and gave me a full plate.
2.) Demi- Half ( I found my second word while watching TV commercials.) My brother got home from a soccer game. Looked at me and smiled. I responded, " You only wished you were as demi good as me".
3.) Hag- Old Woman ( I found my last word while reading the cover of a book from Boarder.) While at Boarders. I told my cousin, " Stop acting like a hag and pass me that book." She turned around to slap me.

      Hello. My 3 juicy words. 1.) Notch: V-shaped cut ( I found my first word watching "The Simpson"). My little brother's hair cut day was today. My little brother was asking for hair style advice from me. I answered, " Why don't you get a notch cut?". My little brother laughed at me.
2.) Genuses: class; kind, esp. in biology. ( My second word i found while reading my biology text book from Senior year in high school). While at soccer practice my friend and i ran laps with the ball. I couldn't help but to comment on my friend skill. I yelled, " Genuses".
3.) 4WD- four wheel drive. ( I found my last word while driving my Jeep to the gym). At the gym i met up with my older brother. We were determined to work out to get into shape. We started to run on the mill. I yelled to him, " Put them legs on 4WD and give it all".

      Hello. My 3 juicy words for this week. Check them out... 1.) Influx-a flowing in ( I found my first word while passing a construction sight passing by the I-90). At home my brother was playing with marbles. He didn't know how to throw the marbles a specific way to make the marble roll a certain way. I suggested to him, " Why don't you use that influx motion?"
2.)Sprain- twist a muscle or ligament in a joint. (I found my second word while reading a soccer magazine). I went over to my friends house to check why he was missing soccer practice. I arrived to his house only to have the door opened by his mom. I walked in and saw him laying in the sofa. I asked, " What did you sprain something?"
3.)Evoke-call forth; produce. ( I found my last word while watching the Immortals movie). After the movie my friend and i went home. All night i tried to call forth Zeus. Even dough i knew it was impossible i tried. I asked my little brother, "Do you really think a human could evoke a God?"
      1: adoxography=Literature, Fine Writing on Trivial or Base Subject. I read this in research i was doing for another class. I used it in my paper when i explained what Adoxography was.

      Hello. My 3 Juicy Words for this week. Check them out...1.) Pronk- A weak or foolish person. (I found my first word while reading a text message my cousin sent me during the weekend). One day after work i was asked to go out to a party of a friend. I agreed to join the reunion. I changed my mind it was a last minute thing so i shot a message to my friend. I texted him, "Yooo homie i wont make it to your pronk party. Sorry."
2.) Widdiful- Someone who deserves to be hanged. (I found my second word while in my humanities class. We were learning about slaves and powerful white folks). After class i had a quick chat with my teacher. I asked him, "Do you believe anyone should get widdiful?" My teacher replied of course no one deserves to be hanged.
3.) Floccinaucinihilipilification- Estamation that something is valueless. (I found my third word while watching the Discovery Channel). One day I needed cash fast so i grabbed my old gold and went to the nearest gold pawn shop. I asked the clerk, " please give me the best value for my gold and dont tell me my gold is floccinaucinihilipilification." I walked away from the gold pawn shop with almost $300 only walking in with a gold men necklace and watch.

I found all my juicy words in my local newspaper, The Herald-Advocate, I am so glad we got this assignment because it encouraged me to read the entire newspaper.
