The land unravelled underneath the constant beckon of the spring sun. Weary travellers sped by in vehicles designated for tourists. Flashing pictures of the landscape and ancient stone that curbed this land. Down in the mud was the brightest jewel. Villagers with roled up pantlegs ripped weeds out of the wet soil to make room for rice.
If only the tourists knew just how paramount a petite boy was to this harvest. To its survival.
Never in their wildest dreams could they ever imagine such a obseen idea. Countries? As people? And yet there was China, sweating his working hours away without so much as a wave to them.
"Such moist ground, aru. I should of iragated to Tiger Leaping Gorge, aru. They really needed it more then them," he said thoughtfully.
A world meeting was taking place in London this weekend and Yao wanted to be in best condition, physically and emotionly. He would start this journey by clearing his mind. And thus, his fields.
Scotland, lounging and loafing in his dark confines of his bedchamber, shook thesleep off with a yawn. He let a hand dangle off his canopy bed, taking a deep sigh. Sitting up, his clumsy hands reached for the matchbox and wax fixture, cascading light to the dank room.
"Ah...Just'a woken, and I already crave a drag..." He mumbled, but felt too at peace in his nice, warm, and very plaid bed to go get his pack of stoges.
A knock on the door startled him. "Come hither..." He called, annoyed.
"Master Scotland. A reminder. Confrence this weekend. You must prepare."
"Oh, hush Agnes. The weekend is several days away." He shook off his mistress with a wave of his hand. "Make like the beloved Liverpool Mongrels, and...'Let it be'! Better yet, LET ME BE!"
But Agnes stood her ground. She moved over to the window, drawing back the curtains. "Up and attam', Master. You shall sleep no more. Lots to do. C'mon."
He took another deep sigh. "If you must..."

((God I love Scotland :3))The smell of his coffee made Norway's senses tingle. Lifting his cup to his lips, he let the warm liquid warm him. With his hair a total mess, and sweatpants clinging to his legs, the Norwegian cleared his glass in only ten seconds and was up for more.
((Teehee))
He dressed quickly, and proceeded down to the parlor. He moved to his ash tray, and noticed his daily pack wasnt sitting there as usual. "Oh, god...Must I do everything myself?" He groaned.

As they woke, night began to fall across the globe. Little was known of which province Yao was currently cultvating nor did anyone sincerly care. The midnight train and plane ride to the British Isles flashed at the speed of light.
Before anything interesting could happen Yao was walking the ancient streets, (still not ancient enough to compare to him. What a source of dread). The oldest thing in thousands of miles radius was a feminin looking boy in a hanfu.
He was scraping his luggage across a small side road in the central city and that made an outrageous amount of sound on the uneven cobblstone. Far too early, it was, to be packed but even so the occasional taxi winded in and out in the light, damp, rain that brewed within the overhead clouds of the morning.
A sweet tea shop was at the corner of the street, attracting early birds and gruff English business men.
When China hit the pavement he drew attention for his dynastic style of clothing and long hair. Something boys where frowned upon to have in this day of age.
"Aiyah," he complained, "this place makes me feel so old, aru."
((So how is this gonna work out, I wonder?))When Lukas was finished his third cup of coffee, he reached over to grab his hair brush. With a sigh, he ran his brush through his hair, wincing when it ran across his hair curl. "Damn it..." He groaned.
((Well, should we just do the thingy now???))
((Yeah, timeskip to the meeting? We are gonna have to do cameo's though for the countries that aren't currently being rped))
((Sweetness...
And i shall make Poland later....Just to forewarn you...and to call him..Teehee
*SKIPZ*))

((OKAY!!! I second Blood Bone and Muscle's idea! Awesome Sauce!))
((Oh yeah!!!!
I dont think I should start. Someone else?))

((I guess I can :D))After several hours, and even more caffiene, Lukas had made it to the meeting building. It was an old place, not very large but with several floors, and served well as a meeting place. From what he could see however, there were no other cars that he recognized. Perhaps he was early?
China marched alone to the basic world summit setting. Stuffing himself silly with the breakfast he missed. He stopped slurping for a moment and paused, grimacing.
"AIYAH!! The hell, aru~?"
It was empty.
((G2g))
Scotland lingered near the entrance, polishing off a cigarette before the meeting, to calm his nerves. "Oh god. Why even come and subject myself to taunts and catcalls from my fellow nations? I should just go home." But he wasnt a quitter. Once finished, he stepped inside, and walked down a corridor to where he was told the meeting was being held.
((Yes, we shall. BYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEE!!!!! *Waves crazily*))
((See you!))Slowly, Norway poked his head inside. No one. Not even the normal humans who ran the building. Moving foreward, he tried to keep a cool face as he went down the hall. Empty.
"Erm...hello?"
Scotland, late yet again, waltzed in. "Oh, wow. No one. I'm not even on time and i'm first? What alternate universe am I in?" He took a seat near the exit.
China turned to him, looking over his shoulder in the echoing room. His eyes flashed and he turned back, calculading what was wrong this time, around.
Slowly a head poked out from behind the door that Scotland was in. His emotionless eyes scanned the room. No one, well, except for Allistar. However he is always late, something that irked Lukas greatly.
Scotland momentarily looked up to see Norway. "'Ello, friend." He tried to sound sickly sweet, as he crossed his legs and placed his shoes up on the table. "Come hither and speak with me..."
Norwau let out a sigh, shaking his head. Slowly he moved over and sat in the seat across from him, watching the man as he did. How come he was the only one here? Did he do something? Perhaps with magic even, he is Arthur's brother after all.
He examined his fingernails, bored. "Shall II be graced with your voice, Mr. Norway? I'm terribly lonely here, all by myself. The fools, those larger nations. Probably went to the wrong address or something idiotic..." He rolled his eyes, and sighed.
"But I spoke with Mathias yesterday." Norway said bluntly. "He also would have texted me to tell me where he was."
He scoffed. "Texted. What are we, in high school?!?" He shook one shoe, producing a rich, dark dirt stain to form on the table. He was oblvious. "How very unproffesional of you. I'm quite disappointed..."
Norway winced at the dirt, before lifting his gaze to the Scottish man. "Texting is faster and I don't have to listen to his talk." He said with a glare. "You're feet. Please put them down."
He laughed. "Why do you care so much? Just a little dirt never hurt anyone, did it? You need to 'chill', Norway. Mind yourself and you'll be fine." Yet, he moved them ever so slightly so as to be closer to the edge. He may seem like a twat, but he really did care about others...sometimes...
"Now tell me, why are we the only ones here? Normally you are the last person to show up, since you don't seem to respect other peoples time." Norway narrowed his eyes, keeping a straight face. ((Sorry if I'm not in character XP You don't see him much in the anime and in the fanfictions he is very tsundere))
He looked down to his wrist. Drat, no watch. He pulled out his phone and checked the time. "Ah, it seems to be that I am actually late by about 12 minutes...I have no idea why 'They' aren't here. Not my problem, anyway."
((Oh, its cool. You're doing an awesome job! Haha!))
((Oh, its cool. You're doing an awesome job! Haha!))
((Thank you :D I read too much DenmarkXNorway))"Actually, I do believe it is our problem. A huge problem." He leaned forward. "If we are the only ones here, and we haven't contacted them today, then something has them." He huffed. "And I don't know if its magic or whatnot, but I am going to make sure it puts things back together." He sighed. "Even if I have to put up with Mathias."
((Omg, thats like me and SwedenXFinland...and ScotlandXFrance...Haha))
"Dude, just 'Text' them, since you seem to be so well connected..." He rolled his eyes dramatically, his feet slipping back to the floor. He brushed the dirt off with a wave of his hand. "Ask them, then. And...Correction...Your problem, not mine." He stood up and went to the side of the room, noticing a flask of unidentified liquor. Fine by him, he wasnt picky.

(( :D ))Norway stood up, a pissed off look that practically screamed 'go die in a fire'. "Do you think I haven't texted him yet?" He muttered. "No one responded. I figured his phone died. It happened with Sweden as well." He stormed over towards him.
((Sorry! Feeding my hello kitty love))
He rolled his pupils again. "Sweden. The oaf. Try a little harder, then." He poured out the flask, producing a brown liquid. He took a dainty sip, thwn smiled. "Want a glass...?" He offered

"No thank you." Norway glared at Yao. "And what, exactly, do you think happened to the rest of the countries?"
Meanwhile, in this very alchol based argument on where everyone was sucked into (as if by some magical vacume cleaner Engand built up or a rabbit hole formed in our dimensional fibers) Yao was actually looking like he was about to go into cardiac arrest from joy."Yes! Yes! Yes~aru~!" >.< "No more stupid labor hours! No more pleasing everyone by being their personal slave! No more Russia, aru~!!!"
Scotland laughed, and pointed at Yao. "He and I...think alike! Haha!" He took another drink, leaning on the wall. He loved this. He loved being able to speak for once and not get taunted. He loved feeling dominant, even though he was the smaller country.
"Without the rest of the countries, our governments will fail. More than three quarters of the world is missing!" Norway glared. "Don't you realize? We have a bunch of countries with no nations to run them. What if this effects their land, or citizens? This isn't a normal thing, we are in trouble."
Scotland dug in his pocket and pulled out a pack of Midol. "Take a chill pill, Norway." He said, tossing it his way.
((Ouch XD))Norway caught the pill, before throwing it back at Scotland's head. "Well then, I wasn't aware that you guys do not care about your siblings." He hissed.
"Without me, they'll fail, aru. Until the Beijing Olympics I didn't allow any outsiders, aru. China is built for this."Except for military weapons, in which he depended completely on Russia.
China's mouth formed a taunt line, "that's the thing, aru."
"Well then, are we going to get them? Or are we going to stand around like fools?" He glared at the asian man, without even bothering to talk to the Scottish man anymore.
((Hehe))
"They never gave a damn about me, now did they? Nor you, or..." His finger lingered near China. "Okay, maybe theycared about you...but still! We arent important like Russia or America or Germany
or....England...." he made a
gagging noise. "Lets face it. Weve been ditched."
